I agree
I feel like we’re missing a lot of information. They know each other only for a couple of days but they already progressed so much that he even likes her and is jealous. We didn’t even see any relationship development so this is just very confusing for readers
The story is good but I think the ml can be quite annoying sometimes. Her reputation is already utterly ruined because it’s a taboo to loose your innocence before marriage but because of the ml‘s behaviour it seems that her reputation just gets worse. If you really care about someone, why would you want them to have a bad reputation? I also don’t like that he’s taking this long to tell her the truth. If I knew that I was simply a tool for someone’s scheme to succeed and that person continued to fool me for months to come I would be quite mad.
At this point even ChatGPT would do a better job at translating
The thing that bothers me the most is that the female lead is only 12 years old and the male lead is 24. The worst thing is that the author is even trying to build romance while she is still 12 years old. I don’t care if a 32 year old women is in her body. A 24 year old being attracted to a child is a pedophile plain simple even if it’s an ancient setting. If we saw a 24 yo now being close to a 12 yo we would call the cops. I really don’t understand what the author was thinking when she decided to make the fl so young.
I love the medical knowledge in Chinese novels lol it’s always so ridiculous. Since when can hemorrhoids kill you 😭
Honestly he’s right. It’s getting quite annoying that she only mentions money, money and even more money.
The protagonist is really annoying sometimes. I mean why would a 32 year old act this way?
If an adult man called a child a soft and warm woman in real life I would call the police
I don’t understand why she’s not giving him his token back? It’s clearly his and he even told her that her whole family could get killed if someone found out that she has it. It just doesn’t make sense to me why she so badly wants to keep something that doesn’t belong to her.
It’s not a bad book but I just don’t understand why almost every single translation group can’t get the pronouns right. It’s up to the point that even words like grandmother turn into grandfather. So I honestly suspect that all translations nowadays are MTL and that the translation groups don’t bother to check if it’s translated correctly. If you already get paid for the translation then why can’t you put in a bit of effort. As a reader I don’t expect a perfect translation but I still want to be able to enjoy reading without feeling as if I’m reading an MTL book.
I like the novel but at this point it’s almost like the translator is using he/she wrong on purpose. I just don’t understand why they’re not paying more attention when it comes to pronouns because at this point certain sentences can be quite confusing. This doesn’t only happen with the Mc, the other characters also turn from he to she then back to he and so on. Since I’m not the only one complaining about it i hope that they’ll at least try to put a bit more effort in it.
