It's good stuff, I have no idea if it's a Translated story or not, but it does give me a Chinese Feelinf. That said, it's quite good, just a few words here and there, and a phrase every now and then. There's no 'Young master chen' or 'face slapping' which is quite nice. As I said, I have no Idea if it's a translation or not, it's just a feeling. The story is progressing nicely, and as the first chapter tells, the MC is not gonna be totally alone, which is definitely a + in my book, and it makes the story much more interresting. Among all the Marvel ff i have read, this is 1 of the good ones, or maybe I am just a sucker for the SCP concept :P

I'm still mad how Dumbledoor basically blackmailed Orion into giving free books just so he can leave early, even though it's for finding a cure to his hand... I can only hope it's "only" 1 semesters worth of books.

I for one like hearing the stories of side characters, I just hope Orion doesn't get any new knowledge or anything, during the time we don't hear about him... I hate reading stories with time skip that doesnt explain anything "Ha Ha, you tried to kill me, but not to worry because I have aquired the golden nugget that can heal all injuries! you wanna know where I got it? too bad I'm not gonna waste my breath on cannon fodder" and then proceeds to never explain how he got the golden nugget.

I would prefer: xalatath, the first one. he did create a race of nightmaresish people, and he's really old, so something livecraftian would be cool, the 3 A's could even represent the force 3 stages, light, dark and balance.

I like it very much, there seems to be a little romance, but no harem as of late (Thank god for that #No-harem). every chapter makes you crave for more, and there's a good mix of tech from different show and such. I'm personally a good fan of the Halo tech, which is nice. The Humor is also quite funny, not that I'm LoL-ing all day long, but it does give a good smile on my face. The world background is there, but it feels a little 1 dimensional, but I guess that's gonna change when he really starts to become a big player in the world, overall i like it very much.

technically, The Forerunners caused Humanity to go nearly extinct and devolved them, before they fired off the halo rings to destroy the flood, but they had been at war with humanity for a long time, almost equal. The tech humanity had at that time would thus be quite potent.
