I know it said he got the jutsu from his parents but the Shadow Clone Jutsu is a S or A rank forbidden Jutsu. It's forbidden because the massive amount of chakra needed to summon even a single clone and if used and you don't have enough it could kill the user, I believe. Since you never stated his parents rank I ignored how his parents could have it. But for him who only has enough chakra to perform a single Rasangun, he definitely doesn't have enough chakra to perform the Shadow Clone Jutsu.

I'm not sure how tall our MC is but Toji is 6'2ft or 181cm tall so I figured our MC is around that height. But 6ft in One Piece is not that tall when giants or humans around 12ft exist. Just wanted to say this when you said his "towering figure".

I don't give reviews at all really but this story is phenomenal. One thing I can happily say is I'm glad I found this story when it is 1000+ chapters. I binged read 200 in a day and definitely of rarer quality on for the fanfiction section. I suggest giving this story a chance because it would be a regret not to.
