Exactly it feels like he is trying to be cheeky, which goes against he's stated goals. I get why he was like that in the beginning, but at this point its lik he's doing an exaggerated wink or the audience everytime. I don't remember you mentioning what he'd end up as, but I disagree that the easier choice would be to wright him being a villain. At this point, his power set is, as clay said, essentially pure evil, besides immortality (depression + murder monster + the abyssal gaze). Not to mention, he has absolute ironclad reasons to be evil. He has been so mistreated and abused, all for one would be able to usurp control over him without any problem, especially because at this point he has had zero chance to grow. Once again, this would make him merely a vessel for some other person, rather than allowing him to become his own individual. This could work, but it's by far the easier choice. His being a Hero would be so oughta left field, and him being a hero would be such a different outcome than the situation that he was placed in him would predict. Also, he could be a cool foil to Shigaraki who essentially goes through his arc anyway, becoming all for one's puppet. All that being said, this is your story so do you. Really like the way the story is progressing. And I'm enjoying the story, but i want to say the problem with perfection is its an end point it literally the end of growth, tread carefully (or face the death of charector growth). weirdly enough he no longer has to worry about his aspects "flaw" until he meets ne0his again in another 1000chapters at this point (note: not talking about his actual flaw)now since its master to bind to(checked the chapter). Though, the wording did say choose a trustworthy master so who knows. I'm exciting to see where this goes kudos on the unexpected ending 👏.
