I mean for Domain Expansion it would be pretty simple no? Straight up blood bending (like from Avatar). Something like where the domain is a lake of blood with infinite amount of blood and he can control ALL blood, even the blood inside an enemies body. Might be a bit too busted though. As for a Maximum Technique. Like some others have mentioned, Raizel from Noblesse and his Blood Vortex/Blood Field, where each blood drop becomes as sharp as a blade.
So sort of like Wei Zhijun from Darker than Black? Or could he do it more like Nezuko from Demon Slayer, although that is more igniting/exploding the blood, could be another usage though.
This may not exactly be true in the Harry Potter-verse, but generally in stories with magic, a wand or staff acts as a focus and an amplifier. Without a wand, the necessary focus can probably be achieved with training, but the magic amplification probably cannot. And as such wandless magic is probably weaker and less potent. A workaround to this would perhaps be the usage of emotion, like with accidental magic. If the MC could control his emotions and use them as an amplifier eventually he could have equal output with or without a wand.
It's a pretty good novel. The cheat is interesting and the MC is fairly likable. The worldbuilding is well.... lets just say the Author is a big fan of the Souls series. To the point I've read the MC enters a dungeon called "Hive-like" (aka Souls-like"), where there are invaders etc. like the covenants in Souls. There are also familiar bosses, mostly from Dark souls 1 and 2. The love interest has a skill that summons bosses from Elden Ring, and the main "bad guys" as of now are the Healing Church worshipping the Moon Presence from Yharnam (from Bloodborne). This all would have been great to read, but unfortunately the translation quality drastically goes down after the first 50 chapters, and continues to deteriorate.
Good on you Author for acknowledging this, not many other stories does that while having similar starting settings. Some MCs just start doing Saitama workouts on deserted islands without any ramifications...
I dont think 30 is middle-age lol, more like 50-ish.
Hmm you are right, Ko is using 100% of Nen into an attack. But actually we are both wrong. Ryu is the actual term for using Nen around the body and concentrating it in different parts.
I think you mean Ko. Although Ko and Gyo is essentially the same thing, Gyo is just Ko focused on the eyes to see Nen. Ko is focusing Nen on any other body part.
Good choice. He is waaay to weak right now to scrap with shinobi, even genin will probably kill him under a second. And he might be an excellent liar, but in front of shinobi his deception wont hold up for long.
I hope that his soul is the original one, and only his body was remade. It would be disappointing if he was simply a copy which used the "template" of Kai Stormborn.
Did we read different novels? I feel that compared to other cultivation novels, Wang Che is very mature. He is calm and collected without being edgy, he is not very arrogant or shameless, so I dont know where you got the feeling that he immature? Although I have only read until around chapter 70, so maybe he changes?
"nowhere near enough" is a bit of a stretch maybe. While I agree with other commenters that the HxH verse is quite weaker than One Piece, especially in terms of destructive ability and physical prowess, Meruem is kind of an outlier. Meruems two greatest stats are his durability and speed, and while his speed is probably a match or exceeds some yonkou, his durability is unknown. We know that he only really took damage in "two" times. 1. After hundreds or thousands(?) of hits from Netero he began to feel "some dull pain and aches". 2. From Neteros Zero hand he took moderate damage. We dont actually know how strong the Zero hand is, and since its a single target ability its quite hard to quantify Meruems durability. Although I wouldnt be surprised if its close to Kaido.
Judo doesnt have any striking...
He can win against "almost anyone", but cant win against a lion?
In terms of muscle strength, insects are the best. I believe dung beetles or something has the highest strength to size ratio. But something like ant-muscles would be pretty good too.
Yeah I agree, the MC now has like 6 different power systems... thats a bit too much. Most novels only give at max 3 (like qi, body and soul), and even then its a bit overwhelming. And couple that with ability stealing and you get a whole mess of abilities and energies which will be very confusing to keep up with.
I have read a fair bit of "the gamer" stories, and the majority of all go for a mage build or mage/warrior hybrid. Usually this would probably work out fine, but not in marvel. There are so many people with overwhelming energy manipulation/energy absorption abilities that the MC will never be able to match up. Perhaps if he combined his mage system + marvels sorcerer system it might work out. A warrior build would probably work fine, but in marvel I would go for an assassin/stealth build.
Its not called hug, its usually called "embrace". Not that big of a difference, but hug sounds weird.
