I’m writing a review based on first impression, it was my mistake to not read the tags before diving in, but I absolutely hate yaoi and try to avoid it like the plague. Despite that, I will still leave a fair review and score. The story outline and premise is good. Seriously, it’s really not bad at all. Still hate yaoi, but I will not grudge a good score because of my bias. It’s good, if your fine with yaoi, give it a go.

This is like a paradox in a paradox im sure.

You might get some flack mostly cause of the title. With the title "Reborn as Ash's Pikachu" one would expect it to stay that way. Just changes the title of the story and you could probably save yourself the trouble of having to explain it in the future. TBH, I was hoping the Pikachu would evolve into Alolan Raichu to make it a little special.
