Tolly here, once again reporting on my ongoing adventures in the lands of the Colony! The town of Renewal and the surrounding farmlands were a picturesque and inspiring sight that told a tale of the strength of the living spirit. People who had risen up and rebuilt their lives after a devastating disaster at the hands of monsters with the help of, of all things, monsters. Getting to know these people and listen to their stories was a powerful experience that went a long way to diminishing my fear of the ants, which was likely why I felt compelled to make my request when I was already deep within the grand nest known as Anthome.

I love the use of unique words such as laconically, unfortunately I think it's used incorrectly here. Definition of laconic : using or involving the use of a minimum of words : concise to the point of seeming rude or mysterious

Although I'm not sure of the details, the novel Chrysalis has all it's chapters up free so I'm assuming it wasn't contracted. It ranks usually in the top 10 or 20 and has a huge following. I know the author also has a patreon for people who wish to donate (and I think there's quite a few). I would suggest maybe shooting the author of that novel a message and maybe modeling the rollout of your novel in a similar fashion. If that doesn't work you could always contact WuxiaWorld and offer to put your novel there, although I'm unaware of what kind of system they use for their authors. Although this feels a bit uncomfortable due to the morally grey (or even unethical) nature of the situation, I really appreciate how this novel dares to push more realistic and dynamic themes into the story. It makes the novel more unique and mature than 95% of the other light novels I've seen. I look forward to reading more of this novel and I hope the (somewhat) gritty feel of the story doesn't fade over time. Keep up the awesome work, authornim!
