Each time i search it, its spelled differently. So you may be right.
While it certainly wasn't an original idea, he quite liked the character in the first season of Krypton. He never actually got around to watching the second season. Not to mention he has to give the man a thumbs up for having basically two wives in a society where it is not allowed. Well Clark will grow up and won't need Mc advice as much, but over time I plan for them not to have a mentor / student or but more of a brother one. However, that will take time and over chapters since I don't plan to make it a quick thing or the Mc force it or think of it. Since the Mc is learning as he goes (The Mc views are also changing as he lives his life just like everyone else. He isn't know all nor is all after all.)
