Chapter 2

Inside the Ancestral shrine, an exquisitely carved coffin was placed, the coffin wasn't made of any normal material rather it was made of dark phoenix wood. One has to keep in mind that that dark phoenix wood is very expensive and very rare. Even an ancestor of a sect won't be able to get his hands on one of these woods. From this, one thing is sure whoever's inside is no small fry.

After a few moments, the lid of the coffin was slowly slid from the inside and a beautiful girl comes out from it. This beautiful girl is none other than Yuki.

Yuki comes out of the coffin and stands on the ground. She closes her eyes for quite a long amount of time. If anyone could take a look at her now, they'll surely think that the girl before them is a beautiful piece of art. After an unknown amount of time, she opens her eyes and sighs.

"paapa went ahead with sealing me," Yuki says. There is a hint of sadness and powerlessness in her voice, but she soon shrugs it off. Then she looks around the house, the house is pretty empty and there is nothing much of value placed here, but there is a serene atmosphere here which no one would want to disturb.

'guess I'll go take a look outside' Yuki then starts walking out of the house.

'The spiritual Qi is thick here, is this place some sort of training area?' as she walks out of the house, she spots a few people standing a few dozen metres from the house.

'maybe they can tell me' Yuki starts walking towards the group of people. She spots a young girl with white hair and blue eyes looking intensely at her.

'I'll ask this beautiful girl about this place' she walks in front of that girl and asks "where is this place?"

That beautiful girl is none other than Sect master Ling Jian, she is still looking at her without minding her question. Yuki says in a playful tone.

"I know I am beautiful, but you shouldn't stare this much"

Ling Jian hears it and her cheeks redden and she instantly looks away, and everyone else does the same. Yuki giggles seeing that.

Ling Jian still has her cheeks flushed but this time she takes a modest look at her and opens her mouth to say.

"I am the Sect master of Sword God sect, Ling Jian and this is the ancestral shrine of our sect" Ling Jian answers

'Sword god sect, was there a sect like that?' Yuki ponders

"who is the founder of this sect?" Yuki asks making a silly face which looks too adorable to miss.

Ling Jian makes a huh sound and looks at the girl, even the vice sect master and elders present there are looking at Yuki with an awkward expression and asks

"You don't know?"

Yuki nods her head. Everyone present there is looking silly over her answer. Even Ling Jian is perplexed about this girl who came out from the sect's ancestral shrine but says she doesn't know about it. Even though Ling Jian is still perplexed, but she clears her mind and answers in a resolute but sweet voice.

"Sword God Jian"

'so uncle Jian started this sect, I guess it was started after I was sealed'

Seeing the assuring expression on her face, Ling Jian asks her

"Who are you?"

"I am Yuki and as for who I am" Yuki places her hand over her chin and makes a pondering expression 'well, I can't tell them about father and I can't disclose about uncle Ji either' then she makes a smiling expression

"You can call me your ancestor I guess," she says

'guess your head' this answer made Ling Jian furious and a frown appears on her face.

"Why are you making that face? haven't your ancestors told you anything?"

"what haven't they told us?" Ling Jian

Yuki sighs and says "Your sect should have imperial edicts right, go and read them"

As soon as Ling Jian and others hear Yuki say Imperial edict they became serious because Imperial edicts was something that was left behind by Sword God Jian himself.

Yuki knew about these edicts because every sect founder left some written ideas or secrets for their descendants. Was Yuki certain that there will surely be information about her on the sect's imperial edict? no, she wasn't, but she was certain that her father and uncle Ji would have thought about it and left some clues.

"We have imperial edict but" as soon as Ling Jian says that her serious demeanour vanishes and she starts fidgeting with her fingers. 'how should I tell her that I can't read imperial edicts without reaching heavenly realm'

Yuki looks at her fidgeting and says "are you sick? or is it that time of the month?" "You are sick, your whole family is sick" Ling Jian retorts furiously

"Why are you getting angry, I was just asking for your concern you know"

Ling Jian makes a hmph sound and glares at her but slowly opens her mouth to say

"I can't read it"

"Why can you not read? Don't tell me you are a country bumpkin and don't know how to read or write?" Yuki says

"You are the country bumpkin and you can't read or write" This time Ling Jian is truly furious. She's glaring daggers at Yuki if looks could kill Yuki would have been dead by now.

"I was just asking, no need for this much anger," Yuki says while thinking 'this girl must have something wrong with her'. Ling Jian takes a deep breath and calms her anger, then she says with a somewhat embarrassed expression and a low voice.

"I can't read it before I reach the heavenly realm" her cheeks are red with embarrassment.

"...."

"...."

To break this silent deadlock Elder Ya comes forward, smiles and asks Yuki

" Can you prove that you are our ancestor?" This jolts Ling Jian and others their stupor

Yuki looks at the blue-haired girl and says "I can, but how?"

"Since Sword God sect mainly dwells in sword techniques, can you show some of it?" Everyone nods to her question because if this girl is really their ancestor, she would surely know their sect techniques.

Yuki thinks for a moment and then smiles and says "sure, why not?"
