Chapter 1
In a spacious hall which resembled authority and wealth, there was a throne which was placed in the middle of the room over a pedestal, and a beautiful girl was sitting on the top of that throne. The girl had long white hair, which was perfectly combed which reached up to her waist. She had beautiful blue eyes, a small lip, a straight nose and a smooth white skin. All in all, she was a beauty, the only flaw was that her chest was flat. But no one cared and strangely no one even dared to look. Why? because that girl was the current sect master of Sword god sect Ling Jian. There were three people standing behind her back, two women and a man. The women looked graceful and the man looked wise. In the room, there were also a bunch of other people who were standing in front of Ling Jian.
One of the men among them said "Sect master, what should we do?"
Ling Jian looked straight into the man and said in a sweet voice "what else can we do but accept the invitation?"
"Sect Master, please reconsider your decision," the man who stood behind Ling Jian said in a respectful manner. His name was Chen and he is the vice sect master or second in command. He has grey hair, looks to be in his 40s. Though time has left its mark on him, his face is still full of Vigour.
"What else is there to reconsider? Since our sword god sect is invited, we'll attend or is it that the vice sect master doesn't want us to participate?" Ling Jian said in a resolute tone. There was a hint of irritation in her voice.
"That wasn't what I meant Sect master" Chen refuted.
"So what did you mean, vice sect master? care to tell" the short woman who was standing behind sect master Ling said. Her name is Chi, one of the elders of the Sword god sect. Though she was a bit short in height she had beautiful features and an ample chest, black hair which was tied in a ponytail, which made her look cute. If people wouldn't know her they would mistake her for a disciple.
"Elder Chi, you know full well if we accept the invitation, it will only lead to open conflict and we aren't ready for it right now," Chen said
"So what should we do vice sect master? Stand down and give the whole world the impression that the Sword God sect is afraid huh, is that what you want?" This time it was the other woman who was standing behind Sect master Ling who said this. She is Ya, another elder of the Sword God sect. She looked to be in her 20s, her hair was beautifully combed. She had blue eyes and blue hair. What made elder Ya different from elder Chi was her aggressiveness.
Vice sect master Chen was glaring at both of these women, while Sect master Ling had her eyes closed and she seemed to be thinking about something.
Ling opened her eyes and opened her mouth to say something, but she was interrupted by the abrupt voice of the guard who came before her in a hurry.
"Sect master, sect master, something is happening," the guard said
But the guard was glared at by everyone in the spacious hall, which made him a bit terrified.
"what is happening and why are you in such a hurry?" Ling Jian said
"Something is happening to the Ancestral shrine"
"Do not beat around the bush, speak it clearly?" Chen said
The guard took a deep breath and said: "The doors to the Ancestral shrine's small house have opened and the spiritual Qi has gone turbulent in that area."
"What?" Ling Jian instantly got up from her throne and said in a surprising voice. the faces of all the people present there were showing the same surprised expression.
"Are you sure" Ling Jian asked
"Yes sect master"
As soon as she heard that she instantly dashed towards the Ancestral shrine with incredible speed. Both the elders and the vice sect master did the same thing and dashed towards Ancestral shrine.
The ancestral shrine was located in the centre of the Misty mountains. It was the place where the mortal remains of the ancestors of the Sword god were kept. It was a place shrouded by fog with thick spiritual Qi scattered around the whole area. but there were three monuments which stood out in the Ancestral shrine.
One was a simple house, the other was a majestic monolith structure and the last one was the temple where the mortal remains of the Sword God were kept. No one knows what the monolith and simple house kept inside or why were they there?
At this moment there was intense lightning cracking in the sky and it was occasionally landing on the small house. The small house doors were opened, but the inside was not visible.
The moment the Sect master, the vice sect master and two elders came to the area of the ancestral shrine, the elders who were already present there greeted and made way for them. Sect master Ling stood at the front and looked at the entrance of the small house which was opened. She started to walk towards it but halted the next moment. Her beautiful blue eyes couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Seeing her expression, everyone present there looked towards the small house and in the next moment, they too had the same expression. Because there was a beautiful girl standing there, she was so beautiful that even Sect master was surprised. one has to remember in terms of looks, Sect master Ling Jian was widely renowned around the world and she had seen a lot of beautiful women, but even she felt that the girl standing was a cut above them all.
The girl had jet black hair and black eyes, that would draw anyone in, her hair was flowing like water and it reached her waist. She had moist cherry lips, a straight nose and beautiful white skin. She was wearing a robe that completely covered her body, but it couldn't hide her perfect figure.
But the people who were standing there had something else that was occupying their minds. There was thick spiritual Qi around that girl. It was so thick, it felt like it would solidify the next moment. This made them terrified because they hadn't seen anything like this.
The girl started walking towards them, with every step she took, her face became more clear and the people present there couldn't get their eyes off her. She stopped in front of Sect master Ling Jian and said "Where is this place?"
