Chapter 3
"Sure, why not?" Yuki then starts walking a bit away from them. Everyone present there is watching her closely as to not miss a single thing she does.
'what sword technique should I use? yes, I should use that' Yuki makes her mind. She's giving a feeling that she'll use an amazing sword technique, which makes the people focus on her even more. But suddenly she makes a silly expression and looks towards them and says.
"Can any of you lend me your sword? I don't have one with me"
"...."
Everyone present had an expression that seems to be saying 'if you don't even have a sword with yourself, so why were you acting all mighty for? and what was that determined look for? are you doing some comedy routine?' While blood vessels were clearly visible on Ling Jian's temple.
After a couple of seconds, someone from the crowd threw a sword and Yuki caught it.
One peculiar thing that happened was that the moment she caught the sword, all the spiritual Qi that had almost manifested around her vanished like it never existed in the first place. As soon as the people present there saw it they became dumbfounded because none of them had seen anything like this happening before.
Yuki then drew the sword out of its sheath, it was neither too fast nor too slow. She corrected her stance, brought her her feet a bit closer and started performing a vertical strike.
"Isn't this slow?" someone present there commented
"yeah, it is" someone affirmed it.
Yuki was performing the sword strike at a snail's pace if someone could see it, they would feel that her sword is not moving at all.
"Even an ordinary disciple can do better than this"
"Does she even know swordsmanship?"
Some of the people present there, grew even more suspicious after watching this, but Sect Master Ling Jian, Vice sect master Chen and a few elders had their eyes wide opened while seeing this.
Because the profundities that were contained in that strike was at a level which they couldn't perform, at least not at their current level. Yuki then performed a horizontal strike at the same slow pace. The two strikes took more than 100 breaths, while normally it should have taken 2 breaths at most.
Yuki finished the strike and then she placed the sword in its sheath and looked at Elder Ya and smiled "Is it enough?"
"It is" Elder Ya replied in a soft voice.
Some people present there couldn't believe their ears thinking 'how is this enough to prove she's an elder, this girl can't even swing a sword fast' but alas! none had the guts to say that out loud.
Sect Master Ling Jian was surprised 'how could this girl have such mastery over swords?' but she kept this thought to herself and walked towards Yuki.
"Ancestor, you must be feeling tired, elder Chi would take you to your accommodations" and then she looked towards Elder chi. Though Ling Jian was still wondering how to address her, she decided to go with ancestor for now. Elder Chi immediately nodded and came forward.
"Okay" Yuki replied and then both of them left together.
"Everyone, go to your respective work and don't mention about this to anyone, whoever breaks this rule would be punished strictly" Vice sect master declared as soon as Yuki left. Some of them had questions they wanted to ask but alas everyone followed the order and dispersed.
"Sect master, what should we do?" vice sect master asks
Ling Jian didn't turn her face towards Chen, her eyes were still looking at the back of Yuki and elder Chi. She answered
"let's go back to the palace, we'll talk about this later". Then she turned and started walking, Vice sect master and elder Ya started following her.

At the meantime, Elder Chi and Yuki were walking side by side in a corridor, elder Chi kept peeking a glance at Yuki every now and then. Yuki noticed this and smiled
"If you have something on your mind, you should say it, you know"
Elder chi flustered as she wasn't expecting this, she stammered "I I I have nothing on my mind"
"really"
"yes" Elder chi was walking a bit faster now, but Yuki was perfectly matching her pace with elder Chi's.
"so you don't want to ask me questions?"
"Who who said I want to?" her stammering was still present, but Yuki felt that to be cute.
"and here I thought I would share a few details with you, but since you don't want to know, what can I do?" Yuki shrugged her shoulders and sighed dejectedly.
" I wanted to ask yo..." Elder Chi turned instantly and grabbed Yuki's shoulder, but as soon as she did that she saw Yuki laughing, her cheeks reddened with embarrassment. If anyone could see this scene they would feel a little girl is getting angry at her big sister. As Elder chi was a bit short, she only reached up to Yuki's shoulder.
"You.. you tricked me" Elder Chi was a bit angry to be tricked by Yuki
Yuki brought her face closer to Elder Chi's and said, "You are so cute". Yuki's silky hair was falling on her shoulder which would be mesmerizing to anyone who would look and Elder Chi was no exception. She blushed and instantly released her grip and took a step back, she turned her face sidewards to avoid looking at Yuki, but her ears were red like a tomato.
Yuki laughed and said "I am sorry, I couldn't help myself"
Elder Chi was glaring at her, but Yuki paid it no mind and stared back. Elder chi tried to frighten her but to her dismay, Yuki just smiled and met her gaze. In the end, Elder Chi couldn't meet Yuki's gaze any longer so she turned back and started walking. It wasn't because she was angry or something, but more like she was shy of getting looked at directly by Yuki any longer, her whole face had gone red.
Yuki smiled and followed her, Yuki kept peeking a glance at elder Chi every now and then, but Elder Chi kept looking forward. After walking a bit, they both came to a door, the door had beautiful carvings on it.
"Here's your room, if you want something, call the guards and they'll help you," Elder chi said this line in a single breath and dashed out. It was more like she ran away from her.
"Wait" Yuki tried to call her but she was already gone. 'she ran away, I guess I'll tease her later'. Yuki pushed the door and went inside.
