Chapter 2: The Meeting.

It's only a couple of blocks away, I needed to start moving faster and keep watch until we arrive. I was drenched in sweat attempting to catch a breather. As we reached our destination I glimpsed at the people. They were filled with fear. I made my way towards the entrance moving through the crowd of individuals and then inside the police station. I examined everywhere inside, with panic rushing through my spine, I didn't see any police officers in sight.

Screaming could be heard from outside. I rushed my way with a slight of hope and pain filling inside of my body to barricade the entrance. I glanced around with the last bit of hope inside. I saw a group of people trying to break the armory lock, my heart lit on the blaze as if it was a bonfire.

I rushed my way to them, my eyes loaded with expectancy. When I reached them I couldn't speak up. It felt as if my mouth was plugged with cement. My sister broke that imaginable lock on my mouth with our gazes clashing. "Is it possible to break the lock?" the old fellow was dampened In sweat as he glanced my way. He spoke out in a weighty manner" it might be achievable, help me out, young man."

I nodded with a grimace forming on my face. The old dudes' eyes were filled with pain and suffering. I reached out to him and he handed me the necessary mechanisms. I placed the lock in between the tool and started pressing against it. I could feel my joints crying for pain in my hands. It was almost like they were suggesting to pull harder and screeching at me simultaneously.

The tool was grinning at me, uplifting me to pull it harder than ever. I felt my muscles flexing and a shine flashed through my delightful eyes when the lock popped off. I darted at the old guy depleted, sweat flowing as rain off my arms. I popped the door open and joy ran through my body as I saw the weapons. I reached inside and then grasped a shotgun and a pistol. It wasn't my first time so the unexpected look was missing from my eyes. I looked at the old guy and met his gaze.

We rushed to the waiting room of the police station, people were frightened with fear filling up their bodies at the sight of us coming out with weapons. I have already barricaded the door of the police station. " T-this might not hold up for too long." I spoke up stuttering with fear filling up into a shape in my throat. I glanced around the room the look at the numbers, we only had a couple of teens and adults, most of them had tears on the very edge of their eyes and were shaking from fear.

"We need to figure something out." one of the adults spoke up with a calm and joyful voice.

But in reality, his legs were quivering as well. "It's already night, we can't move anywhere right now," I planned to express myself calmly but my speech most likely terrified them even more. My body was aching from all the sudden activities today, I'm not a fit individual so doing this type of thing is incredibly exhausting. My legs were trembling from weariness and dark bags started developing under my eyes.

No one spoke up, I assumed everyone was frightened and too disturbed to speak but. "Let's keep a watch" the old dude spoke up with confidence filling his eyes "The rest of you should rest," he said with a calm voice, he had blonde hair. He didn't seem that old, probably in his 30s. Many people tried to rest but it was tough to sleep in a situation like this. I held my sister in my hands and eventually I have fallen into a deep slumber.

"Hello, Charles." spoke up the guide with excitement in his voice. "It seems now you finally understand the situation you are in" he moved his way closer to me with a slight chuckle. "If you didn't get it yet, I'll give you a hint! Look at the things that are in front of you." those kind last words were the last thing I heard before I woke up to some kind of rumbling.

I preyed my eyes open and the only thing I could witness was blood painting the tiles of the floor. The blonde individual slaughtered the old lady with a blade. He had excitement in his eyes and a grimace on his small lips. The woman was bleeding with blood painting up all of her clothes and her soul leaving her body. I peeked around the room but everyone stayed in their place, no one dared to speak up even if the blood spattered on them. Their fear could be seen on their faces, everyone was scared. I decided I had to act up myself, I reached for my gun and grasped it in my hands tightly, It was the first time I pointed my weapon at an individual.

"Sit the fuck down" I screeched with fear and excitement in my voice. He looked at me with a frown on his face, the end of my gun just waiting for me to fire it any moment pointed towards him. Yet he didn't back down. My sister was standing behind me, her body shivering and worry sealing up her eyes completely. When the old lady soulless body hit the ground I could tell the guy didn't feel any remorse.

Then he grimaced my way and started strolling towards me with the knife. It felt as if we were separated from the earth. Almost like this was only an imagination. I aimed my gun at him and screamed almost as hard for my throat to bleed "get back" but he didn't. He reached me and swung his knife. It was too late, I grasped the gun tightly and I pulled the trigger. I could feel my shoulder getting dislocated from the impact of the shotgun. I looked at my legs. Quivering around from fear of killing someone.

Then I heard something dripping. The guy's torso was blown into pieces and blood painted the tiles of the floor. I could smell this disgusting blood. It covered every part of my body. This is how I killed my first prey. Everyone was shaking from fear but no one dared to speak up, almost like something was blocking their throat from daring to talk. They were helpless in a situation like this. Then I realized, It was like they were filled with fear because of me, and I liked it.

I liked this feeling of being feared. When I recognized I already had a grin on my face. I was on the verge of laughing when my vision slowed and blurred, my scared sister, snapped me back to reality. "Brother?" she questioned looking at the grin on my face. Our eyes met and I could tell she was terrified of me. Her brother. Tears formed at the edge of my eyes realizing how pitiful I am. A shiver ran through my body.

The only things making up in my mouth were "I'm alright trust me, but we need a change of clothes" I glanced around the room with the blood dripping from my clothes. Then I saw the officers' locker room with a change of clean clothes. I removed my bloody clothes, I was a bit embarrassed about my skinny figure since everyone was examining me. My hands were shaking and my shoulder was still in pain from earlier. We finished putting the police uniforms on and declared in a rough but calm tone "everyone, we need to start moving."

the individuals glared at me and after a couple of seconds they nodded but one of the teens with black hair spoke up "where to?" he raised a good question. "Outside." said in fear as I pulled the barricade down on the door. My legs were shaking and chills ran down every part of my body. My eyes were filled with pain and agony. I looked back and everyone started packing their stuff, and we ran out." I need everyone to stay quiet from now on" said the old guy whispering as quietly as possible. I tried my best to be on my toes and aimed my gun at every little detail. I saw the demon-like creature devouring someone.
