Chapter 9 Consolidated Yin and Yang Stars

The third fight ended quickly and now it was obvious to Yang Rai that they were targeting the Star Masters first with full force. That meant they didn't give a single damn about the people in the slightest. It was nothing but a game to them. Further supporting the idea of a terrifying existence behind the Grand desolation star field. "Maybe I was born specifically to help buy time for Elder Brother Yang to return." He thought.

The third star was called consolidated Yin Star. its spirit also joined Yang Rai's Knowledge Sea. However she had a similar name so Rai called her Yin Yin. It made it easier to distinguish between the two. Yin Yin noticed something odd with the glyphs in the Knowledge Sea.

"Master, I don't think these are nearly as strong as they could be. The three of us aren't enough, please find some more friends to help play with us."

"No need to worry, just focus on bringing these glyphs as high as possible. I'll likely have another friend for you soon."

Yang Rai had reached the peak of the 1st order Origin Returning realm. And broke through to the second on his way to another star. This one was the consolidated Yang star. The yang energy on this star was much greater than the previous ones. But all of these stars were still in the process of dying since they quickly became Masterless. This star was named Yang Yang.

Yang Rai now refined four star sources and became a truly terrifying existence in the Star Field. With his four spirit friends helping to manage the glyphs properly his cultivation became an absolutely unbreakable force even by other star masters standards. He was invincible in the origin king realm while still being an Origin Returning realm. His mission was important. He was the only one who could do it. Refined all the freshly dying stars in hopes of retaining the strength of the Heng Luo Star Field.

"Master, with five more friends I think we can complete the next phase of the glyphs. And give them massive upgrades."

"Five more, so 1 for each element. I see. It looks like I'll be working hard then. Inform me when the glyphs reach their max rank. In the meantime I'll gather more friends. I'll be counting on you to help convince them when the time comes."

"Leave it to us Master. We won't let you down."

Yang Rai continued his quest. He managed to save a world before their master was killed. This time he spoke with the star master and was able to have them send a message back to the High Heaven sect. After helping their star master to recover to his peak Yang Rai left. Onto the next battlefield. If there were invaders there wouldn't be anymore after Yang Rai showed himself. He did this many times, rising to the challenge. It wasn't just his name on the line but his honored elder brother. Any tarnishment would not be tolerated. In the end Rai just wanted to grow stronger so that he could help his brother when the time finally comes.
