Chapter 8 Yang Star
Yang Rai left and went for the next star he could reach in time. Once he arrived he quickly showed strength beyond even the origin kings that had just fallen. The invaders' forces were shattered. Yang Rai didn't pick up the resources this time. There were many people left who helped with that. Instead someone greeted him.
"Sir Savior, My name is Ding Su Fe, from the Golden sect, on behalf of Yang star I thank you for coming to our aid. Might I ask who this sir is?"
"Yang Rai, from the High Heaven sect on Shadowed Star. Please prepare a room for me to recover."
"Right away. I'll prepare the spoils of war for you as well."
"You may keep most of it for yourselves. I don't need it but if you insist don't go overboard with it. I'd rather you all recover your strength instead."
"Such a benevolent man you are."
Yang Rai sunk himself into cultivation again. Like before a star source was hovering around. This one was even more eager to join yet also warry.
"Yang star, come. I'll save you as long as you don't mind working with other stars. Yin star has made the same promise."
"Do you really mean to?"
"Of course I do, I wouldn't let something I saved die out now would I?"
"Then I'll be happy to work with, young master. Please I'll offer my strength to you for whatever you need."
Yang Rai cultivated and refined the Yang star's source. Each of the stars now resonated with each other in harmony. Yin and Yang stars people noticed the change in the world. It felt like they became closer to the star master. Yang'er began to help yin'er with the glyphs causing them all to quickly promote to rank 5 glyphs. At the same time Yang Rai's Baptism occurred and he went directly into the Origin returning realm. With the Baptism happening the Stars grew stronger as well. In fact Yang Rai sensed that Yu Ting Ling was promoting to the Origin returning realm as well.
Yang Rai walked out and prepared the Yang star similarly to the Yin star. He couldn't just allow others to find these stars. Now he also created an array that allowed the people to go from one star to the other. He prepared this just in case another attack did happen. He wanted to have as much time to save as many people as he could. This was no longer a simple battle between minor or even major forces. But a fight for survival against a majorly powerful enemy. With his new cultivation level it was obvious that he was likely the strongest cultivator in Heng Luo Star Field. That didn't matter to him. He knew that no matter how hard he tried, being able to fight against the invaders might be impossible. There must be a truly terrifying force backing these invaders.
It was on his way to the third battle that he would have that he noticed they said Grand desolation and purple. It was all he could get but that was enough.
