Chapter 10

Yang Rai's message was making its way back to the Great Elder Ye Xi Yun. Over the last year She had been doing everything in her power to manage the situation. She was upset about the fact Yang Rai boosted off without saying anything. Yet she was about to get some good news and bad news. The messenger sent by that star master Yang Rai had met before had finally made it to the High Heaven sect. Ye Xi Yun upon hearing the message was for her and from Yang Rai made time to see this visitor above all others. The hall had an elder from the purple star there as well. Not really a good thing for the messenger.

"Greetings Senior, This lowly messenger has been sent by Star Master Qin Heng."

"Please what is this message about?"

"Madam. Yang Rai had created a jade slip and said that only the Great Elder should read it first. I swear this was handed to me by Yang Rai himself. The heavens bear witness."

A servant passed the jade slip over to the Great Elder. Ye Xi Yun read the message and became utterly furious. The message read:

"Great Elder, I'm sorry for leaving. On my journey I have come across many battlefields. They have all had things in common. Mainly that they directly target the Stars Masters first. At the time of this letter I have found and refined four sources as a result of this. Lastly I can not confirm it completely but Purple Star may be colluding with the enemy. It doesn't sit well that they target the stars with Star Masters first. The invasion must have someone aiding them. I was able to pick up a conversation of some talking about Grand Desolation Star Field. This is the invader. I believe they are backed by someone of fierce strength. In this same conversation they mentioned something about Purple Star. Be wary of them. I believe it best to try and call for help from the higher world. My brother Yang Kai might be able to contend with the master of the invaders. I will do what I can. I am a second order Origin Returning Realm now. May the heavens be with you and the Sect."

After calming down she turned to the purple star elder. And stared at him. It all made sense now, they were the ones that tried to keep us from resisting from the beginning. And now Yang Rai has already defeated 5 armies of the enemy. All this while the Sect was waiting for information that Purple Star Was supposed to be responsible for. At this point the Purple Star Elder knew that they had been found out.

"Capture all Purple Stars people. They are traitorous scum. This is the order, if they resist, kill them without reservation."

A great upheaval began and tides of the war changed. The invasion forces began to find decent resistance. And the progress the Grand Desolation Star Field troops had slowed dramatically. They still were far in a way stronger than High Heavens forces. So they still made progress. Another year passed by and the war was in a stalemate. Yang Rai had found five more Star sources. The others didn't know this at the time but he was on his way back to the Shadowed Star. There was after all a massive existence of Emperor Qi just existing there. Yang rai needed to use it. He was about to be promoted to the origin king realm. It was so urgent that the 9 Star Spirits were actively helping him to suppress the rising energy.
