Remember the ads about pirated movies where they were of low quality, and bits were out of order so they didn't make sense. This is that movie in book form. The translation is clearly an MTL with names of people and places changing from sentence to sentence. Some sections of the story come out of order, clearly not on purpose. Just read chapter 10 as an example. I don't know how Webnovel has the Gaul to try and charge money for this quality of "translation". The concept is quite good, but it is so hard to get past the translation quality it is difficult to see if it has been executed well. I do not recommend reading this on Webnovel, if you have to, then just use an MTL website, the quality will probably be the same.
it is a great novel but too bad the author or translator or both ruined it how come there were a system and then the system is gone / another one where he get his Disciple nanming they keep say she met her older brothers but i kept track of that none of the chapters mentioned that he has returned or holy maidens he met nor orgin of chaos where or when he got how he can change the the constitution nor when his older brother changed his constitution and last but not least the cultivation levels are in a ness leaving aside the inconsistent names when he come to emperor releam they say great emperor or emperor can you say the difference between them ?? or after the emperor comes god then domain where he understand space then time law the creation how come all changed to immortal cultivation levels ??? you said saint cultivation was his goal but the inconsistent and changable levels this completly destroyed the purpose of the novel was taking in Disciples anymore ?? say the change is abit good idea but there is no link in the changes at all and his Disciple nanming she is intervening too much with how her master should react you should understand that even if she wants for her masters is too inappropriate for a Disciple no matter what even if it is alright the mc should have an opinion not keeping his disciole behaving like this at all even if her personality like this anyway thats personal idea for me here /thanks.
I was pretty happy about this novel and how it progresses but just after chapter 200 either the author or the translator had a big mess up and since then it is hard to be interested enough to continue reading further. It looks like a bunch of chapters were removed or reordered without updating the chapters after that. I've had a whole bunch of chapters were there are references to events that never happened in the translated version. Not only is it annoying it makes me feel I'm being left out. It was a pretty good story, bad translation but the story is good, but the more times I read about events that never appeared in the translated the less I'm willing to continue reading. I'm not sure if I will reach chapter 300 because of the missing chapters. And please hire a proper editor. This is probably one of the worst novels when it comes to properly translating the right gender. Almost all females will be referenced to with he and his, even in the same sentence where it is explained that the person is a female will there be errors with the gender pronouns. It's becoming so bad that I would like to ask webnovel.com to redirect all earnings from this novel that are supposed to go to the translator to be deposited on the accounts of the creators of the machine translators, it's not like the translators did any editing after running the original text through a machine translator.
the story has great potential, there are typing issues where words are smashed together and a lack of spaces, it would do well to be revised and edited for greater readability. there also seems to be a problem with the story repeating information and looping back only to say the same thing with slight variations in text. the writing quality itself is of a medium level, it's not extremely difficult to understand the story but at the same time the story is rather shallow. there isn't any real depth of background knowledge or story building, it all revolves around the MC's disciples and himself while simply ignore most of the other aspects that make a story truly great. I believe with some fine tuning and proper editing this story will be a wonderful read.
I would not recommend this series. The title is pretty misleading. You would think the story would actually be about the disciples, since, you know, its in the name. But after about chapter 100, the disciples are pretty much ignored and the whole premise completely forgotten. From then on, it becomes the usual xian xia shlock of pumping and dumping collect wives like gatcha and face slapping. I'll be honest, as generic as the world is, it really felt like the author had no idea what he was doing or going to do after chapter 100, and for lack of better ideas, they just copied every other xian xia. I mean the first few hundred chapters where there were actually interactions between disciples was pretty good. But then they are gone, and all that is left is just another sub-par xian xia fantasy, in which the MC just wasn't interesting to carry on without the disciples. The series pretty much ended like it was cut off, cause the author had no idea how to finish it. If you are going to read it, I would recommend stopping the moment he gets teleported to another world. At that point, the conceit of the story dies, the writing dies, the character development dies, and having interesting side characters dies, and it just becomes a waifu gatcha.
this is a mess. chapters are jumbled up at the start and cultivation realm terms constantly change. the story is okay up to the point where the main character is transported to the demon' world. it then becomes apparent that the author's creativity is drained as he doesn't know where to take the story. it feels as if the author changes so I dropped the story.
