Somewhere in the forest down on one of the mountains, scream of different types of beasts could be heard clearly.

On closer inspection, corpses of many beasts and monsters were on the ground. Blood and death was everywhere in the air.

There was one beast standing on the pile of corpses and eating one of them. His white fur were drenched in thick red blood.

Krk!

The sound of a leaf breaking notified him something was there.

"Krrr" He looked at the beasts and they ran for their life.

Slash!

But even before they could get far he bit their throat and cracked the skull.

He did the same for the other beast and silence fell over the ruined area of the forest for a few seconds.

Growl!

A low pitched growl came out of a little beast's mouth.

"Wolf!" When Kai saw him, his face of rage immediately changed to a sofe one.

The small pup of a beast came running towards him with its small legs.

Kai let out small growls as if asking if the pup was alright.

"Growl!" The beast puppy replied with enthusiasm as if saying "yes".

"Where are they?" A long blonde haired person asked. He was Lionel.

A person was kneeling in front of him.

"Report has it they are currently in the Ice mountains my Prince." He said with solemn expression.

"He wants to make Ice element? Is he stupid? That would take tremendous amount of time." He said in a bit disinterested tone.

"There is no way in hell he can make an elemental Core in 10 months. Besides he would have to cultivate to increase realm as well. Which would also take time." Lionel said. "It seems I overestimated him a little." He just dazed ahead and after a moment thought.

'He's not my opponent, but what is this relentless fear inside me? Am I not considering a variable here?'

"What are the orders for me, Prince?" The person asked which took Lionel to reality.

"You can go now. I don't need anything else."

After hearing that, the person left.

'It's probably nothing, a person like him can't stand a chance against me'
