I Don't Want To

The drive to Zach's house was a long one since Michael's company was totally not anywhere close to his place or even his company for that matter. They arrived at Zach's house and Teressa got down from the car and approached the house with Zach right behind after passing a ton of bodyguards. They entered into the house after a series of confirming Zach's Identity.

"Wow. There aren't much changes to this place since the last year." Teressa said as her eyes scanned the room and then she felt an arm wrap around her waist and she smiled as she leaned in feeling comfortable in Zach's arms.

"Are you going to go back home to your mom when you have a break from work?" Zach asked as he kissed her neck before spinning Teressa around to envelop her in a deep kiss. Teressa responded until his hands started wandering below and she cut the kiss.

"I can't do this Zach. I already told you I am not ready yet. I don't want to do this with you yet. Give me time." Teressa said as she withdrew from his arms. People might be surprised that she was still a virgin in their relationship but she just wasn't comfortable with the idea of having sex with Zach as of yet. Their relationship had never passed the kissing stage and she hated moments when he tried to continue further when he knew she wasn't ready.

"I am sorry. I sort of lost my control for a bit there." Zach apologized as he tried to advance further but Teressa just moved back a little as she picked up her bag from the couch she dropped it on when she entered into the house and walked to the door.

"Teressa, don't leave. But this isn't fair to me at all. As your boyfriend, I have a right to your body. You are basically starving me." Zach said not realizing what he said was a little unreasonable.

Teressa turned just as she was about to open the door "If you love me like you say you do every time, you would wait for me till I'm ready and not try and force me. Think about it and clear your head. I think we both need the space." Teressa said as he turned to the door and headed out before closing it with a loud bang.

Outside, a car was parked by the side of the road and inside it was a man. His posture looked elegant as he stared at the woman storming out of the house right in front of him.

"Drive." His magnetizing voice resounded inside the car as he told the driver what to do.

Meanwhile, Teressa booked a cab and headed straight home. While she was busy reminiscing what happened, her phone rang and she realized it was April. She realized they hadn't talked for some time as she picked the call.

"Hey girl. How have you been?" April cheery voice sounded through the phone. Weird. April was normally a happy go-lucky person but today sounded very extra.

"I am fine. But tell me, what's got you so excited?" Teressa asked a little bit eagerly. Well, with the drama that happened in her life today, she wasn't too excited or happy.

"Well, guess what?" April asked even though she knew Teressa was never good at the guessing game. She just wanted to tease her.

Teressa sighed as she massaged her forehead "April, you know I am not good at the guessing....." April interrupted her sentence as she completed it for her.

"Yeah, I know you're not good at the guessing games but still guess what? Sorry, I meant let me tell you. So today I was working at the office. I mean, you know me. Diligent, hardworking, brave, intelligent, beauty queen, responsible and kind-hearted." Teressa waited till April had praised herself with all the good words on the planet.

"So anyways, this guy passed by me. He looked filthy rich from his appearance. He was probably a business partner of the boss or the boss' son. Anyways, he looked like he was Adonis himself and when he turned my way, I almost fainted. But I mean I felt the connection when we had eye contact and I feel like he is my prince charming." April continued while Teressa just listened without saying anything.

"Anyways, who is the boss? Hot prince charming with the six packs or ugly pot bellied freak? Wait. Don't tell me. Let me guess. He is pot bellied, right? That's why you aren't speaking. Don't be sad about the fact that that you have to work with a pot bellied man for some years. This is why I'm here to cheer you up as your bestest friend. So don't be sad, got it?" Teressa sighed. Again. She probably couldn't tell April that she was quiet because she was literally talking the whole time. April could be too much sometimes but accompanied by her flaws, she was still the best person in the whole world.

"April. Keep quiet for some seconds and let me talk please. Yeah, my boss is handsome. Let me put it that way for you. He was like you expected." Teressa was getting really tired. She felt sleepy but she was not home yet so she had to stop herself from dozing off. At least, April helped her a little with that.

"Even more handsome than Zach?" Teressa stilled. She didn't want to think about Zach. It led to her thinking of their argument. And then she thought about the question April asked. It was very obvious that her boss was much more hotter than Zach. Anybody could notice that but she wasn't going to tell that to April.

"I don't know the answer to that question." Teressa said and then the driver told her she had arrived home. She looked outside the window, told April bye on the phone and then got down from the car. She opened the door to the house and the lights in the living room had been turned off. She headed to her room and tossed her bag on the chair by the left side of the room. She changed into a sleeping gown and got onto the bed. The moment her head landed on the pillow she slept off thinking about how the next day would be like.
