3. The Meeting part 1

Julius Walked out of his family manor silent and stern as he walked to the car that was parked in the driveway. The car was a black Lincoln continental with complimentary gold trim. Sitting in the back of the car as the driver pulled out of the driveway and onto the road as he sat there in a nervous silence.

He couldn't believe that he was actually going through with something that could go horribly wrong. But he knew it had to happen, and the worst thing that would happen with his clan, would be needing to replace the head of the family after about twenty five years. When ones rule was usually almost five hundred years.

Staring out the window he tried to clear his mind of the nervous fear that clouded it. By watching the tranquil natural world pass by an unnatural entity.

Julius found the natural things more fascinating that the synthetic that were beginning to fill the world he had inhabited for centuries. Since he was granted his immortal life. He saw the way civilizations changed first hand. From the more primitive technologies, to more science directed machines.

Vampires didn't really have much use for the human technologies, but it does afford a greater deal of blending in. And allowing them to have nice looking vehicles in the process.

"Is something the matter Mister Julius?" The driver spoke glancing back to the distressed man who looked in his direction. If only the man understood what was going through his mind. Then again it would probably lead to the death of the man in front of him, and would make for a longer trip to where he was supposed to be arriving by.

"My mind is full of worries, but it is of no issue." Julius responded to the man as he adjusted in his seat. "Have you ever done something that you feel could go wrong?"

The driver tilted his head for a moment in thought for a while before answering the question. " Well that depends on what you mean by going wrong Mister Juliuis, does it have to do with girl problems?"

Julius chuckled shaking his head "No. It isn't a girl issue, it is more of a business issue if anything. Just worried on if I am making the right or wrong play is all." He spoke not giving too much away on the situation that he had gotten himself and his family into.

"Bussiness issues are always your downfall aren't they Mister Julius?" The driver chuckled as he continued driving along the road. "Maybe if you looked at from a different point of view, maybe with an little bit of optimism and sunshine"

A different point of view and sunshine? If only the driver knew how ironic that statement alone was. If he wasn't so intolerant of the slightest touch of the suns full UV rays, or the possible thought of them, he would have looked at the sunny side of things all the time. But instead he had the phases of the moon to lean on when it came to viewing things.

"That is definately one way to say it for sure Nathan." Julius said clearing his throat as they started to arrive near the turn of the road that would lead them to the Xeres manner. One thing that surprised him was the fact that something like this hadn't happened any sooner. With them being so close together in location, one would have thought there would have been a coordinated effort in the way both houses operated. But that was the logic that ran through the mind of Julius. The man who was given a chance to bring two great households together, and the one who thought he could pull it off.

Angelica stood in the kitchen cutting up an array of vegetables as she hummed off in her own world as the sound of silence played in the back ground. Turning she slid the vegetables into a sautee pan as the sizzling began to ring out from the pan.

Letting her imagination run freely she spun around in the massive kitchen as she danced around preparing the dinner that she would be serving to her esteemed guest and family. The thought of such a person entering the only home she had only knew, she found such a thought exciting. Unlike her elders, she found the introduction of new people into her life exciting. As long as they weren't a danger to her and her family. She found them okay.

Smiling at the thought of a new person as she continued on with her cooking. She continued cooking as her mind began to wonder back to a certain thought that had been bugging her for the past few days. What would the person be like? Would they be nice? Or mean?

Shaking the thought out of her head she forcered herself back to her cooking as the wonderous smell of food began to waft up into her nose as her smile widened. She loved the smell of good food. Even if it wasn't enough to sustain her or any of the others like her. It was a nice delicasy for them to enjoy. Especially in the sense of taste and smell. It was something many of the older bloods salivated over whenever they smelled the wafting aroma of whatever was being cooked or baked.

For Angelica it was enough to make her smile a radiant smile and sing with the whole of her heart. It was one of the few things she had the most freedom doing. Due to how overprotective her family tended to be with her, she wasn't allowed to enjoy much of the world she inhabited. She didn't know much about the tradition of her people, or the people her mother wanted to keep her away from.

Smiling she finished cooking the food as she set the food away to stay heated as she awaited the arrival of the guest. Peaking out of the kitchen she stole a glance of everyone in the household running around and preparing a small table in the main dinning hall.

She found it odd that they were setting up such a small table, when she had been informed to prepare a feast for a larger group. It caught her off guard to see such a small table being set up instead of one much larger.
