Chapter 20: audition day

*Time skip*

Whitney practiced and practiced for hours every day, until her body couldn't anymore. she then took a day to the auditions as a day to rest, in order not be too tired or weak on the main audition day. On the day of her auditioning, she felt perfection, but she didn't want to feel too confident. Whitney woke up at about 5am. she made a cup of hot tea, to calm her nerves, she also did some excersice before getting ready. after all that, it was about 6:45am so she decided to go and get ready. "I have to go and take my bath now, it's better to be too early than be late" whitney said. "I'm going to get ready too" Lola replied. whitney and Lola took about 20 minutes to get ready, and by that time, it was already 7:05am. After whitney came out of her room, she found Lola dressed and waiting for her. Whitney was putting on her lucky t-shirt, the t-shirt was black with white strips, and it had GRACE written boldly at the front and at the back "psalm 4 verse 3 was written at the top left corner of the shirt, in-between two strips. and a pair of blue trousers with white sneakers. she fell her dark loushous curls and had it bound at the base with a small scarf. she didn't use any make up, she looked simple but she was beautiful. Lola was putting on a flora mini gown with a pair of flats and had glasses on her eyes. she looked so pretty. "you look great" Lola said to whitney. "like wise. thanks for your support" whitney said, "you are welcome, what are friends for" Lola answered "and besides you would do same for me" she added. "salanghaeyo" ( meaning I love you in Korean) whitney said, "thank you, I love you too" Lola answered. suddenly, whitney pulls Lola in for a hug, Lola was a shocked because whitney wasn't much of a hugger but she eventually huged her in return, and they hugged for a moment. "please don't make me cry, my foundation cost 50won" Lola said. her words caused whitney to laugh slightly, and let her go. "lala, I'm a bit nervous" whitney said, facing down and staring at her toes. Lola lifts her head up gently before she said "don't be nervous, you are going to do great, you will kill the auditions today, just do you and you'll do amazing cause you are amazing and I trust you" "thank you Lola" whitney said and hugged her again. But this time it was shorter. "let's go before we run late, or worse miss the bus" Lola said "ok" whitney answered, before she wiped her eyes, and the fee droplets of tears in them. They both leave the house.and head out to the audition venue.
