Chapter 19: practice continues

moments later, whitney came out to the padio with a pair of baggy pants and a t - shirt. Lola glanced at her and took a breath of relief and said "that's better" before looking back at her laptop screen. "now we need a song for you to cover" Lola said, still looking at her laptop screen. "I couldn't sleep last night, so I made a mix " whitney spoke. "I thought you weren't that interested" Lola said teasingly, knowing fully well how whitney wanted this opportunity so bad. Whitney kept silent at Lola's tease. "I have been doing some research on the best tips for k pop auditions" Lola spoke. "that's would be really helpful but first would like to listen to the mix" Whitney said. "oh yeah" Lola said, before sliding side ways, creating a space for whitney to sit. Whitney sat down next to Lola and reached to her pocket, bringing out a small blue flash drive, she then installed it into Lola's laptop. The mix was a compilation of three K-Pop songs, momome by jay park, Maria by hawsa and how you like that by Black pink. after moments, the song was over. "it's nice, but short" Lola said. "I didn't want to waste much time" whitney said. "ok, that's means you would be singing too" Lola said "humm I guess so, until I get there I won't know, but I have prepared a song and back up song and dance, I don't want any unforeseen incidents" whitney said. "how bout the chereography " Lola said . "I already know the steps of the song so I'll just improvise" whitney said " ok, you go do your thing, I will see after you are done with practice, ok you practice while I do so researching" Lola said. "thanks" whitney nodded. few moments, after Lola left the padio, whitney pulls out a photo of her family from Nigeria,and smiled at the photo. she went deep in thought of the memories they shared together and this made her smile and also cry. she concluded saying in her mind, "I miss you guys so much, but I have got to follow my dreams. suddenly, a tear rolled down her cheeks, then she smiled and goes to practice.
