Chapter 14: Killing the Rabid Dogs

"Ah! You guys must be the Millefiore Family! Thank you for coming to the rescue of our village, my friends! We shall depart tomorrow morning. For now, please enjoy the feast!"

I smile a little and nod my head.

"Thank you for the feast."

"Bwahahaha! Don't mention it!"

I nod to Luca, and the two of us start eating the food. My Sky Flame did not scream at me to tell me that the food was dangerous. That means the food is safe. While eating, I look at the werewolf next to me and say.

"So, can I ask the reason why you guys are asking us for help? We don't mind, of course. However, we also need to know what kind of thing we must prepare to fight to protect you guys on the way back to Bucharest."

"Of course! Of course! The reason why I ask you guys for help is because of the people from Tepes and Carmilla Factions."

Now I know he is full of shit. A regular human did not dare to say the name of the factions without flinching and looking around in fear because of how long the two factions tortured the humans in this country.

"Because of your faction, sir. Carmilla decides to attack after hearing your faction manage to defeat one of their direct sons of King Tepes."

The man looks outside the room and sees the sun fully down. Not only that, a full moon now appears in the sky. When I hear him laugh and feel he start to release a foul energy that makes me frown, I know that the jig is up.

He looks at me with a grin full of teeth and says.

"I am sorry, but it looks like we did not have much time. At least you have your last meal."

"Ah, it looks like you guys are finally your true color."

After saying that, I take a deep breath and clap my hand. A second later, a massive explosion of sky flames happened in the house, blowing up the entire building. The next thing I know is that Luca and I are surrounded by petrified werewolves who try to jump at us.

The only people left are the ones who are strong enough to survive my attack or fast enough to hide behind a stone wall. There are five of them, and their leader looks at me with anger and hunger.

"You!"

I smile at him and say.

"Me? What about me?"

Instead of answering me, the man roared and charged at me. I jump away, take out my weapon box, and take out my sword first. I raise it to block another attack as he pounces at me and takes out my pistol, then shoots him.

He snarls at me and ignores his injury as he jumps at me once again. I block his claw attack with my sword and jump away when he swings his left arm at me. I shoot him, and when I see him block my bullet using his arms, I swing my sword next.

However, he catches my sword and pulls me over. I release my sword and shoot five more sky bullets at him. He takes them all and continues to charge at me. I grunt a little as he punches me through the wall.

I grunt a little as I land on the ground to see the entire place is in chaos. My men already fight the werewolves that hide among the houses in this village. I wipe the blood coming out of my mouth and summon my animal box.

My two dragons come out and attack a giant werewolf running toward me. My black dragon, Kuro, wraps around the werewolf leader, and when he alone is not enough to hold him down, Kuro multiplies into ten and ensures he cannot move. Shiro, my white dragon, releases sky flame breath and creates a cage around him.

I dash forward, push my sky flame around my sword, and thrust my sword at his neck. He looks at me in anger as I push my sword deeper into his neck. Seeing that he cannot survive this fight, he starts to laugh.

"Hah! You cannot kill me, boy. I know your kind. You will do anything to help the others and guess what? The others are hidden in places that you will never reach! Release me, and I will let you get them."

Instead of answering him, I let out a loud laugh and wiped the tears from my eyes. He snarls at me and says,

"What are you laughing at?! Do they care about their fate?!"

"Oh, I do. However, it is funny that you think you have it all under control."

I look to the side and see Felicia walking toward us with her sword drawn. However, what makes my smile get bigger is the five heads of werewolves hanging on the sheath of her sword. However, I release a sigh when I see the people behind her look at her in fear. Yeah. I can understand the reason why they are afraid of her.

I look back at him and say.

"So! Let's talk about the person who ordered you guys to attack us, and don't dare to tell a lie. This kind of thing is not something someone who wants to take over a territory will do."

"Hah! Do your worst! I will not tell you anything."

"Alright"

I swing my sword and cut his head off. I can see the other werewolves look at me in surprise and fear. I look at them and say.

"So! Who wants to tell us the culprit behind this?"

"It looks like we need to watch out for any devil that enters our territory."

After my brutal action, the other werewolves start to talk. After I killed them all, we burned their bodies, and the village mayor was kind enough to let us use this place as our resting place before we took them to our territory.

"Felicia, can you use your connection to give as much information about this bastard as possible? We cannot attack them at the moment, but we can make their life harder when we grow up."

Felicia nods her head and says.

"Leave this to me, my lord. I will gather as much information as possible."

"Good. Luca"

"Yes, boss!"

I look at my storm guardian and say.

"Train the boys and start putting up a recruit notice."

"Of course, boss! Leave it to me."

"Good."

It is time to increase our power and show the world that we are a faction that they cannot mess up with.
