Chapter 9:The Prey

A few minutes ago...."Crown prince Roland Felice and Princess Astria Faith Felice has arrived" announce by the mc and Opened the door, they greeted the king and queen and sat down on table where they were place.A few minutes passed and the emperor and his company has arrived the nobles greeted them with respect and was cautious of them

"I hope you enjoy the party we prepared for you your majesty"the king said as he greeted the emperor while Lucius just glare with his cold eyes looking around at the hall and face the guest

"Im touch by your generous Welcome party king Richard and I'll gladly enjoy tonight's party" he said and stared at Ria who was standing with Roland in a two seated table which was a bit near the king and queen

Astria who noticed the stares tried to avoid meeting his eyes "Im delighted your majesty then let the party begin" he said and was about to show Lucius his sit which was also a throne besides the king and queen

"I'd like to take a sit near the princess as i was captured by her beauty,i wanted to know her will that be possible" even though Lucius was wearing his cold look he was smiling with a devil look, the palace hall was silence hearing his request and the king and queen was more surprised and feared that they might lose their daughter

"ah but we would like to discuss some important matters with you your majesty"Richard. "Didn't you say that this party is held for welcoming us are you trying to lie at me"he ask with a serious tone that made the people around him tremble in fear

"F-forgive me i was thoughtless,you can have a sit with Princess Astria then your majesty" Richard surrenders and stare at his two children, Roland was called by the king so he left "Ria no matter what don't do anything to make the emperor impressed on you do you understand' her brother was very worried but ria just nods and smiled

"I'll try brother now off you go father is waiting for you"She said so Roland left while hesitating to leave his sister when Roland went to the king, Lucius excuse his self "I'll take my seat" he said "ah yes your highness and Roland take Lord Evan to his Seat"he said when Roland arrived at them the queen sat down at her throne she was feeling dizzy for worrying for her daughter

Lucius was staring intently at the woman he saw at the hallway along with the prince they didn't resemble each other so he thought it was his lover but he didn't expect it to be his sister

Silver gray colored hair with a pair of Blue like tortoise eyes wearing a Lavender colored dress while her long wavy hair was waving down below her shoulder and a Butterfly sliver pin was on her head,her beauty was very rare and one of the most beautiful lady he ever seen though he really doesn't appreciate appearances he can't deny the fact that she's really attractive but what surprised Lucius was the mana that was hiding in her body as if it was concealed and it was very similar... similar to the person that he was looking for.

"I'll be sitting with you princess"he coldly said and took a chair, there were few tables set besides the hallway of the palace while some nobles were dancing at the center while others were drinking while chatting and was keeping an eye on the emperor,like the king said he only invited a hundred nobles so the palace was having a lot of space

Black Royal Attire with golden laces was the clothe that Lucius was wearing,His black raven hair matches his look and the way his golden eyes suits the black attire and not to mention his lovely cold looking face that makes the heart of ladies stolen,He was really a good model of a great emperor,his aura was domineering and was powerful that can make you bow as soon as you meet his eyes

"Your majesty is too humble you should have sat on the throne rather in this chair"ria spoke and decided to stare at him with an innocent and naive look "The king's only daughter is very beautiful that can even attract my eyes" He said in a sarcastic way so ria just kept smiling and didn't mind his words

"ah is that so then I'm thankful that i caught your attention its an honor" she said "hmm yes since there were many people trying to catch my attention even tonight's banquet is full of them as well though i do understand them however we just arrived a day ago and your people are trying their best to please me I find it amusing you see" he spoke that made ria gulp 'he's freaking scary' she thought and scream in her thought

"We are desperate"those were the only words that came out from her mouth "yes pretty desperate like the other however im quiet busy for now but if your people finds the prey that I'm hunting and hand it peacefully to me then i can consider whatever your father is planning to deal with me" he spoke as if telling ria to turn her self over to him. 'no this is only his trap he couldn't know that it was me so he's just suspicious' ria calmed herself and gave her serious look "if that's the condition you want to listen to my father's request then I'll find this man your looking for and hand him over to you your majesty" she said and Lucius smirk

"it's not a him since the person I'm looking for is a woman princess then i hope you find her in two days and I'll accept your father's request" he said so ria just stare and the two look at each other as if the hunter has found it's prey and the prey is trying to get away from the hunter.....
