Chapter 14: Foresee the Future

After the disaster that happened at the banquet,the nobles were restless thinking that the emperor might destroy their kingdom but to their surprise he agreed to have a meeting with them

"s-s-so your majesty will that be enough to have a deal with you" ask by noel the king's aide who elaborated the plan and bargains to win the emperor... Lucius was sitting at the golden chair with his majestic and serious face looking at them while evan was only staring at him and two of his knights were standing besides the emperor's chair, Lucius was not entirely listening as he was thinking of will ria surrenders to him

"your majesty" evan called for him "hmm surrendering your business and weapons are valuable enough for a trade however i already own a lot of it, offer me something that can meet my expectations" his cold voice rang in the meeting hall and silence was observed "w-what is it that you like your majesty" king Richard ask "we have countless of beautiful women if you like" added by Lord Willem "We also have rare herbs your majesty" Roland added he was also joining the meeting "i have priests that can heal me and i dislike women but"Lucius gave a cold glare and they were very concerned about what he was going to say

"but" evan also ask with bewildered eyes "your Princess is interesting she'll be a good trade don't you think" he was very serious and his golden eyes shone like a predator "ah" the ministers as well as the prince and king were surprised "well it's not like she can't be a bargain when she herself is trying to offer something to me" he added and they became noisy. "the princess is still young to be married your highness" Roland said while clenching his fist. " the princess,our princess can't leave us" the ministers were whispering "isn't she 22 this year yet she's still young aren't you a doted brother but i never said I'll marry her, Im suggesting to take her" Lucius gave a deadly stare at Roland so he gulp

"W-well if the princess can make you spare our kingdom then we'll discuss things with her your majesty"Noel Spoke and the ministers agreed. "if that's it,I'll take my leave,i can only stay for a few more days there's nothing much that you needed to do since i already expecting some news to someone and she's doing fine saving your kingdom" he smirk and stood leaving the meeting hall

the ministers as well as king Richard and Prince Roland were having a guess who the emperor was referring to, and they were ashamed hearing the emperor's word saying to just sit still and do nothing "Was that necessary your majesty" Evan ask while they walk in the hallway "what" Lucius ask coldly "your majesty are you pouring cold water with the king and prince, they loved the princess very much you know" Evan has become bold and talk back at him,Sir Joseph and sir El were following them behind

"that woman is not a child and having her at the empire is beneficial and I don't plan to marry her Evan"Lucius explained the knights were taken a back 'the emperor explained' they thought since Lucius doesn't really explain some small matters "oh that's fortunate but also unfortunate,the princess is really lovable and beautiful despite seeing her for once won't she be in trouble at the capital if we brought her back" Evan was worried and Lucius got annoyed

'tskk she's strong enough to hurt me and yet they kept worrying how annoying' he thought "she'll survive in her own"he said and Evan just sigh "where do you plan to go your highness" he ask "didn't i came here to see what the kingdom is all about" he smirk and evan already knows where he wants to go 'ah visiting the town i guess' he thought and sigh again "what about the knights"Evan ask "they're enjoying their stay at the sun palace and they won't die if they ever encounter an assassin" Lucius said and Evan groans at him "well i suppose they are enjoying their stay" he said

Meanwhile Astria was drinking tea at her garden thinking if she should surrender already 'umm' she was sipping her tea but she thought it was bitter "blehh does tea taste bitter or my taste buds are dying" she said and puts her cup down, Michael was walking towards her and he bowed "princess"he said "what is it" "well the meeting is over and the emperor left and just stayed for 30 minutes" he said 'i already knew that' she thought "Michael I already knew that since wind travel faster than you but tell me where he want i need to know where the emperor is" she demanded but he sigh "I don't know princess he didn't return to the sun palace,they just disappear without the servants nor knights noticing" he replied

"where could he be" she thought and Michael spoke "wind do travel everywhere why don't you use it i instead of using your brain princess" he said and Ria was pissed "your very comfortable in disrespecting me my loyal aide"she smiled and Michael flinch " hahaha im not your highness,will you look for the emperor" he ask "yeah I need to observe him for a while so go away Michael" she said and Michael just sigh "yes but this time please bring sir paul with you your highness" he said and stare at sir paul who was standing besides the blooming roses

"i will and my brother might be looking for me tell him i went to meet with Scarlet"Ria "yes princess and be careful" he said and bowed "i will" ria answered and stand from her chair, she smiled fron Michael and gather wind to surround her in a blink of an eye she and sir paul vanish from the garden, Michael was left alone staring at the garden "hah it's really inevitable for the princess to live here longer, the king already knows what the emperor wants im afraid the palace will be quiet from now on" he said
