Jadenne stood to the right of me, the twins were behind me and Dan took the left. Cho positioned himself in front of me to my right, flames dancing in his hands. Da-eun and Soo-min stood directly behind Simone, Kaylee and Nikki who were poised to strike and Stephen, Tyler, Yeong-jun, Dong-woo and Tessie positioned themselves our group and Hinata ready to attack, fangs exposed as they stood growling. Hinata looked at us as she laughed hysterically, "Do you think you can strike me down like the others? Well let's see who's faster." she said practically screaming with excitement. Jadenne's skin began to glow and the numbers etched on it began to swirl around his body, while the numbers in his eyes began to spin counter clockwise. "Trying to freeze me?" she yelled as her pace began to slow down enough for one of Cho's fireball to hit her, burning the hem of her robes. She stopped as she looked at Cho. "This is my favourite robe you fucking cockroach. Now I will crush you like one." she stated as she resumed her advancement.

The wolves attacked only to be thrown back with a wave of her hand, Jadenne then gave one last push as his eyes began to glow, but instead of stopping Hinata began going backward. "No you don't child." she screamed, "You will die after the newborn like the irritating gnat you are." The next move I made was purely on instinct more than anything else, I side stepped around Cho placing myself in front of him and Jadenne. When Hinata stretched out her hand to touch them she was met with my touch as I grabbed hold of her hand and looked her in her eyes. "Jadenne and Cho belong to my family and you will never lay your filthy hands on them or anyone else ever again." I said in an expressionless voice, Hinata eyes widen as in my hands her hand began to turn to ash, and soon her entire body became nothing but ashes which fell into a pile on the floor. I heard the loud gasps behind me and the stifled screams from Da-eun and Soo-min, and in that moment I felt nothing. No one said a word for a while, even Cho hesitated before he came towards me, I turned to the others and that was when Mimi came up to me scythe in hand. "Your eyes....." was all she could say as I looked at my reflection in the metal blade of her weapon.

My eyes still looked like a raging tempest but now it took on a mahogany shade of red, "I have the rest of our family to save, and I don't think San, Jung-Hwa, Dae-Hyun, Young-Soo, Tae-Hui and Joo-won can survive while we brood over my power changes." I stated. I then turned away from the group and began to walk towards the doorway, "I smell Young-Soo and Dae-Hyun this way." I said plainly. As I walked to the door to the far left of us, Kaylee ran up to me and grabbed my arm, "NO!" she shouted, "I killed my mother to protect you so explain to me why do you have Reaper eyes? What are you hiding?"she demanded. I don't know what came over me but as a reflexive move I spun my whole body around and my hand instinctively wrapped around her neck while I slightly tilted my head. Kaylee grabbed my hand that I had on her neck tightly with one hand while the other held onto her katana. The blade of the weapon in her hand began to turn colour and was soon engulfed in flames. "My family is being tortured and you question me?" I asked in a voice even I didn't recognize, I saw Kaylee's eyes widen as she heard my voice. Tyler and Stephen turned back into their human form and raced towards us with the others in tow. "REMI." Dan and Jadenne shouted, Cho and Tyler grabbed my arm, my grip around Kaylee's neck never lessened and my expression never waivered.

Stephen walked towards me, "Remi the others need you, staying here fighting amongst ourselves means allowing them to die." There was something in his voice as he talked to me as if he was trying to soothe me. I don't know if it was his tone or the words he spoke to me, but something pulled me back to where I was and what I was doing as my eyes returned to their original colour and form. I instantly pulled my hand away from Kaylee's neck as she just stood there looking at me horrified, "Your final form is a Reaper." she whispered, I just looked at her confusion on my face. I heard of the Reaper trait in vampires, but because it was extremely rare amongst vampires no one knew much about it, "Kaylee." I whispered whilst looking at my hand. "I'm sorry, I....I...", Kaylee simply looked away as she cut me off "We have the others to save." she muttered as she walked in the direction I was heading to before the altercation. I was still in shock, I tried to kill my best friend, Kaylee was like a sister to me we grew up together, what did I do? "Shake it off." Tyler said as he placed his hand on my shoulder, I slowly followed behind everyone as we walked towards the door. As I neared the door a feeling overcame me, I felt cold, frightened, angry, depressed and host of other negative emotions.

A sense of dread filled me, tears began to fill my eyes as I tried to hold them back and blink them away. Focus Remi I kept telling myself and then like a slap to the face a scent invaded my nose, it was the scent of death and blood. It was so overwhelming that as soon as Simone opened the door to the room beyond, I began to run, "No Simone." I shouted as I ran past her into the room where only two people could be seen. In the centre of the room standing on wooden chairs, nooses around their necks, their hands tied behind their backs, "YOUNG-SOO! DAE-HYUN!" I shouted to them not moving from the doorway.
