"Quit Slouching" Allyson keep saying to me. It felt like I've received something huge that I couldn't get my mind off it. Why does this bother me so much?

Apart from the fight, I was also bothered about myself. I keep demanding answers to my use here. I would have been better off with this night eye burden that is in me now. How did I even get it? Is it my mother or my father? If it was my mother, definitely my aunt would have this so called powers of night eye but I don't think it's my mother which leaves me to the only person, my father.

If he was the source of this, definitely I'll hate him the more. He caused havock already to my life and mother already. He left for years and came back to take my mother away. Sometimes I wonder how she still made the decision to go with him when she should have abandoned him. I clearly can't understand the power of love.

"Dude, back to Veroz"

Allyson said making me stop my thoughts. I have way more important things to face than this. I had better meet Sir Lyon to talk of the next thing for me.

My meet up with Sir Lyon wasn't as productive as I imagined. I was still told to give them some time and they took a little more test on me. The day passed by in a flash and here I was this time the next day, standing with Allyson up the stairs of an open court. This is the day, our pair up fight. Who would go in first?

"Does this happen every time?" I asked to clarify my thoughts.

"Once in a while but it has never happened at this form. We only take out on ourselves for a little time factor but with this arrangement, this might be pretty brutal like Gerald said."

"Oh boy" I said exhaling. The rest students were up same with Allyson and me. They were all chatting and I was still baffled at why this fight wasn't freaking them out.

"Gio, in pair up fight like this, have you ever gotten a win?"

"I am pretty weak when it comes to fighting. I only know the basics but I'm not that pro like Allyson or Vee. I have won a fight once and the rest times has been hard a little bit."

If Gio could sound this way, there's literally no chance of winning for me. I just hope that Gerald take it a bit soft on me with my opponent.

"Quiet down you all"

There was silence now admist us.

"Now, we begin the duel. The rules of the game are simple, no quitting, weapons are allowed, the use of night eye power and abilities are highly allowed and you are expected to go all out on yourselves. That's all."

After declaring the rules, he wheeled out a small table with an enclosed paper box. "This has all the names of you all. I pick two names, and they go all out. Ready?"

"Yeah" The rest said in thunder.

"I guess that does it." He dipped his hands to the box and brought out a name. "Vee" He said and doing the previous action once more. "Zac"

Vee scoffed hearing her opponent's name. Zac is one of the followers of Trevor. This fight is gonna be easy.

"Watch and learn Rory. I'll give you enough moral to face your own fight." She said and walked down to the open space. I made sure I took a close watch to their fight to figure out what I can use to my own.

"Ready? Begin"

They went round in circles first. From the looks of it, Vee has a upper hands in this fight. She's a golden night eye and Zac's a sky blue night eye. That's not it alone, Vee's fighting abilities are way more superior to Zac's own. Though I haven't seen Zac in action but I could tell merely just looking at him. This was gonna be a tough one to predict.
