Chapter 12

As soon as Victor heard the door creaking open behind him, he turned his head slowly and saw Mari walking towards him with a bright smile plastered onto her face, wearing a cute blue dress that ended below her knees, along with some black flats. Yuuko's older sister always dressed up well whenever possible. When she saw Victor turn around she let out an exaggerated sigh and rolled her eyes, obviously annoyed by his behavior and obliviousness toward her feelings.

She reached her desk near the end of the row and sat down.

"What are you doing here so early?" Mari questioned in an amused tone, "I don't remember inviting you over."

"I told Yuuko that I had to run an errand for her, and besides," He continued smirking as he stood up and grabbed his backpack and pencil case from his desk, "It's not everyday that Yuuko brings home a new guy." He winked at her playfully before making his way out of the classroom, leaving a confused Mari behind.

Mari watched him walk outside before turning around to Yuuko who was leaning up against her desk smiling happily.

"How come Victor's here early?" Yuuko asked.

Yuuko laughed lightly, causing Mari to look at her curiously before responding, "We're gonna meet up after class to hang out." She answered honestly, "Don't worry about it!" She grinned as she gave Yuuko a quick peck on the cheek before heading out of the classroom.

The rest of Victor's afternoon flew by faster than ever before and it was finally time to call it quits for the day. He packed up his stuff and headed to the locker rooms to change into his clothes that he had hung out in before school. Once he finished changing, he made his way out of the locker room, deciding to meet up with Mari. He figured it would be good for both of them since they haven't spent much time alone for the last couple days. As he was walking down the hallways towards the exit, he spotted a familiar group of students standing just outside of the gymnasium entrance talking amongst each other as they watched what was happening inside the building. One of the girls he recognized as Mila was standing next to Chris and Georgi who were whispering among themselves with big smiles on their faces. When he caught sight of Mila, he smiled knowing that she was probably talking to them about him. The more times she talked to them, the more nervous he got whenever Mila would bring them up. However, it was kind of a good thing too. He couldn't imagine what else he might say when he eventually met their parents and had to tell them about the kiss that had taken place between him and Yurio. He knew that it wouldn't be easy and that he might struggle to keep it from his family, but if it meant that Yuuri felt happy with him, he could do anything. If anyone deserved to be happy, it was him.

"Hey Victor!" Someone shouted loudly from above him, catching his attention. Turning around, he saw Viktor running towards him, waving his arms as fast as he possibly could while yelling Victor's name over and over.

Victor couldn't help but laugh as he watched Viktor make his way towards him; clearly excited to finally see him again. Once Viktor made it close enough to Victor
