Chapter 13

he reached Victor and grabbed his shoulders tightly, looking at him with wide eyes. His hair was disheveled from all the running he'd done earlier and he looked absolutely stunning. His skin was covered in sweat but still retained a healthy glow as it reflected the fluorescent lights hanging from above them.

He noticed how Victor was staring at him and blushed immediately, clearing his throat.

"Uhm… Victor..." He began hesitantly before he shook Victor lightly by the shoulder, snapping him back into reality.

Victor snapped his gaze back to Viktor's and raised a brow questionably, trying to figure out why he had called out to him.

Viktor released his grip on his shoulders and stepped closer to where Victor was standing before asking, "So... What are you doing now? Are you going home or do you want me to take you somewhere?"

Victor blinked several times before answering, "Umm… Actually, I'm going to go home... With you... But I think that's better if it's just the two of us." he said, looking away bashfully.

If Yuuko hadn't brought up that topic, Viktor would've never even considered that he wanted to spend time with his friends together. But, as he looked over at Victor he felt like there was no harm in going out, especially with him. He was the one who suggested this whole idea in the first place and he already seemed pretty fond of Yuuri. It wasn't really any different, right?

"Alright! Let's get a move on then!" Viktor exclaimed, grabbing Victor by the wrist and pulling him along behind him. Victor let out an embarrassing shriek when Viktor grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him across campus, almost bumping heads multiple times.

When they finally arrived outside Yuuko's dormitory, Victor realized that it was dark outside. Usually he liked spending time with his friends during the evenings and mornings, but he had decided to come by tonight rather than wait until morning. Although he thought Yuuko might have been the least thrilled at the idea of having to deal with Viktor during the evening.

"Yuuko doesn't live around here does she?" Victor asked as they made their way into the lobby, which was dimly lit by only the light of the vending machines outside.

Viktor paused and looked at Victor, "No, she lives further away." he replied with a frown before continuing, "Do you mind going ahead of me? I'll just grab something out of my bag for later." He gestured behind him to his suitcase, which was sitting against the wall. "Sorry if you need to go through something."

Victor nodded in understanding, "Oh it' fine! I can handle carrying your bags for once." He said with a grin, earning a soft chuckle from Viktor as they made their way into Yuuko's shared living space.

After getting his bag from Victor, Viktor set his suitcase on the couch beside Victor's and made his way to the kitchen area to grab some snacks. He found that Yuuko's fridge contained everything from fruit to cheese and bread and Viktor picked out a few things to eat, as well as some snacks for himself, for when Yuuko went back later. He quickly ate a piece of strawberry cheesecake before opening his laptop and beginning to type on his desktop. While waiting for Yuuko to arrive he opened a video chat window with her and sent her a message.

Yuuko: Hey, you're here! Did I surprise you? ;)

Yuuko: Is everything okay, Victor? You usually reply when I text you.

Yuuko: Victor?

There was no response. He must have fallen asleep or he didn't read the message before responding. Either way, Viktor knew he couldn't just ignore his best friend like he usually did, because he promised that he would answer when she asked. After a moment, Victor decided to pick up his phone to check the messages. There were two messages from Yuuko. Victor stared blankly at his screen, hoping that Yuuko didn'
