Chapter 11

A few days had passed since Victor had come home from Florida and it was now Saturday morning and Victor was starting to think that maybe he made a bad decision.

When he got home from Victor's apartment Saturday evening he tried calling Yuri once again, but he never answered the phone. He also tried calling Chris a few times to see if he could talk to him about it, but the blond was busy with his new friends, and Victor figured he would probably answer his calls later in the day anyway. After hanging up on Chris, he laid down on his bed and closed his eyes tightly as thoughts swam throughout his mind. He couldn't deny that part of him was scared. He was afraid of how Yuri was going to react to what he said that night. Did he truly mean what he said? Was he even able to say all of that? Would he still love Victor after hearing everything he had to say? Did his actions make the blonde regret ever telling him the truth in the first place? Victor was too terrified to find out. The only comfort that he was getting right now was knowing that Yuuri was definitely going to kill him if he were to ever hear about his words and his outburst last night.

He opened one eye and saw his bedroom clock read 7:40. Victor's stomach started to growl, but his eyes stayed open. He could hear Yuuri walking around downstairs doing whatever it was that he did, so he must have woken up early. He really hoped he was able to convince Yuuri to forgive him, because if not then Victor was fucked... He had no idea how long he had slept for. He wondered how his sister would take it if he asked her for more money and food in the meantime. His stomach rumbled again and he felt the urge to eat again.

Victor decided that now wasn't the time to think about how hungry he was. He needed to figure out what he was going to do now. First of all, he wanted to apologize to Yuri for everything that he had said to him, but he didn't want to bother him right now either. He wanted to give him some space. He didn't know why though. Maybe he was expecting him to get mad and yell at him, like usual. Or at least give him a look of complete disgust. It wasn't fair of him to do that to Yuri though. He was just trying to protect him... And by protecting him he was basically saying that he loved him, which Victor wasn't entirely against. It seemed like the least he could do after everything that they went through.

Yuuri entered his bedroom and sat beside him on his bed, "You okay?" He asked softly as he placed a gentle hand on his cheek rubbing his thumb in small circles across his pale skin. "It's almost 8 o'clock. You can get up and go downstairs if you want. Your father and my parents aren't here yet, but I'm sure they will be eventually. We can get ready for dinner and then we can go and check if your mom knows any places nearby where we can buy some groceries, or maybe go out for coffee."

Victor smiled slightly as he leaned into Yuuri's touch. "Are you making breakfast?" He asked curiously, not having expected his younger sister to actually wake up this early so that she could cook something for them.

"Oh god... No..." She laughed nervously, placing a hand behind her neck as she avoided eye contact with Victor. "Well... I guess you can consider it breakfast… But mostly I just came to see if you were awake and if you wanted me to bring you breakfast..." Her voice trailed off as she waited for Victor's response.

"You didn't even get me to the bathroom yet," Victor pointed out with a raised eyebrow, his mouth forming a slight pout. "Why did you decide to wait until the morning to wake me up…"

"That is totally not my fault… And I'm hungry," She whined
