22. Toru Hagakure 1

When I looked at her. My breath hitched in my throat. My heart pumped like a battering ram. It was just a side profile of her face but damn she is so cute and adorable. Her cheerful personality really suits her face.

But no matter what you say. When I looked at her face, Her eyes looked lonely. ho wouldn't want to have normally interact with someone else. No matter how many friends she can make. It all boils down to nothing when you feel left out. It all just feels like nothing when they cannot even see you.

She might have naturally had that cheerful personality but I think it is all because she doesn't want to feel left out even more than she already is.

But man, her features are absolutely adorable. White soft hair designed in a wavy fashion, falling down the sides of her face. A heart shaped small face with a pointed chin and a small nose. Her beautiful big mesmerising eyes and long black eyelashes. All this just made a critical strike on my heart.

She probably felt my gaze and looked at me deeply and saw looking at her in a trance. She probably had an idea what that was all about. She opened her big eyes even more and probably figuring things out looked at me in astonishment.

"Cute". I muttered. She was that far away from me so she probably heard me. Her face went red for a moment but then she snapped back to reality and looked at me in astonishment.

"Vegeta, Ca-can y-you see-see me?!!" She asked stutteringly with her nose a bit red. I just nodded in confirmation too entranced to say anything else. Momo looked at my unusual behaviour and looked at me wonderingly. I didn't say anything.

Aizawa and everyone in the class perked up and were looking between me and Toru. Probably intrigued by looking at what was happening. Who doesn't love good drama. Aizawa on the other hand was looking at me keenly. He probably realised something. He is a professional with vast experience under his belt after all.

Toru not paying anyone any attention suddenly jumped from her seat and jumped at me. Sniffing as she jumped with a running nose and dripping eyes. She gripped me like a Koala and put her head on my chest. She started to cry loudly, probably from relief. All these years, I am probably the only one, who could see her clearly.

Whilst looking at her. I also realised one thing that there was some forcefield around her that made her invisible. There was probably some energy lying dormant inside of her that her body was subconsciously using to keep her invisible.

Seeing her crying in my chest. The rest of the class, looked at me with suspicion in their eyes. Momo on the other hand realised that I probably did something with my Quirk to probably be able to see her. Apart from me it was only Momo, Nejire and my parents who knew some of my capabilities. But they still never stopped loving and loved them back equally or even more than them for it.

I started patting Toru from her head to the back gently. So she can let it all out and relieve herself from the loneliness and to tell her that someone was there for her. "It's okay cry as much as you want, I am here". Those words broke the dam even more and she started wailing.

" Uwaah, I- I was just so lonely, Sniff sniff. Finally, someone can see me". She just kept crying and repeating the last line again and again. Probably tiring herself out, she slept in my arms peacefully.

" Aizawa Sensei, I am going to take her to the infirmary. Please I'll be back in a bit". I gave Momo on the side, who was looking at me gently a smile and went on my way with her to the infirmary.

When I got to the infirmary. I just Toru on the bed but she grabbing my hand really tightly even in her sleep. So seeing it impossible to leave, I just sat near her on a chair and waited for her wake up. I patted her soft hair in her blissful sleep and she gave a cute and adorable smile.

When she finally started to walk up after some time. I looked at her and gave a reassuring smile. "How is it Toru? Feeling any better?" I said to her in a gentle tone with a smile.

Seeing my smile, she blushed and looked at me in a daze. "What, like what you see? Handsome aren't I?" I joked to lift the mood up in the room. She snapped out of her daze and hid in the bedsheet covers. Probably too embarrassed.

"Can you really see me, Vegeta-san?" I asked me worryingly. I gave her a smile and said "Yeah, I can and don't worry about the formalities, just call me Vegeta without honorific. She probably feeling embarrassed she was just peeking her head and eyes out of the cover looking like a cute little hamster.

"Toru, do you believe in me?" Caught off guard, she asked me. "What do you mean by that Vegeta?" Toru, I think we can solve your problem of involuntary invisibility". Hearing me, she looked at me astonished but with hope in her eyes.

"Really, Vegeta can it really be done?" She asked me eager to confirm, what I just said. I just gave a nod with a smile. "I think we can solve it but you will have to take training from me like Momo. It will be hell, are you ready for it?!" I asked her with a really serious and strict face. Taken aback by my serious face, She said after taking some time. "If it can really be solved, I will do anything". She said to me in same amount of seriousness. She had conviction in her voice.

"Alright, good. We will start your training from today after school, back at my home. You can come with me and Momo, when we go back home". I told her with a small smile. Toru after hearing my answer was happy and was feeling sweet in her heart. She probably fell in the abyss known as Vegeta.

Only time will tell.
