Arrival at Konoha

Minato was running towards the disturbance along with several konoha ninjas along with the anbu. But he suddenly stopped and had a confused expression.

"Why did you stop Minato? Did something happen?" The anbu ninja asked.

"The Iwa ninjas have stopped all of the sudden and the chakra signatures of the man and the boy disappeared." Minato answered.

"It must've been a chakra suppression technique. They must have used it to hide themselves"

"Then that means they are relatively safe for now. We must hurry and find them before the Iwa shinobi." Minato spoke with resolve.

"Minato the Iwa shinobi split up to find the man and child." The other sensory ninja said.

"Let's split up as well. Send me a signal if you find something. Now go!" Minato commanded.

"I'll be accompanying you Minato" the anbu shrugs.

"Then let's hurry, we must find those two as soon as possible."

After searching for a few minutes minato suddenly stopped.

"What happened?" The anbu asked.

Minato spread his palm on the ground "Their chakra signatures are back and it seems they have been found by the Iwa shinobi. Let's go!"

Minato and the anbu ran to their location with haste.

The anbu captain received the signal and travelled to their location in the span of a few minutes.

"So we meet again Fuji was it? I told you I'd find you." The captain grinned evilly at the man.

"Damn if it isn't mr.poophair, it's been a year since the last time we met. I see you haven't removed that bigass poop from your hair." The man coughs up blood before grinning with a hint of provocation at the other party.

"I brought quite a line up in order to take you down but it seems we were really lucky to encounter you while you were injured this would make things a lot easier" the captain laughed evilly.

Minato and the anbu arrives silently along with 2 other konoha ninjas they met along the way.

"Wait minato let's listen for a while, so we can find out about the situation." The anbu whispered to minato.

"The man is bleeding if we waste more time he might bleed out." Minato hesitates.

"It would only be for a while. We need to understand what's happening." The anbu insisted.

Minato reluctantly agrees.

"I'm really curious, why did you refuse the tsuchikages offer? He gave you a good deal you know? It would've given your son a "brighter" future. What do you plan to do while getting close to konoha?" The man asks in a provoking tone.

"Bright future? You're just going to train my son into a weapon!! You Iwa ninjas can't be trusted. I'm taking my son to konoha, my niece is the jinchuriki there." The man coughs out blood while glaring at the iwa shinobi.

When Minato heard that the man is Kushina's uncle he suddenly threw a kunai and sprung out. He wasted no time to attack the Iwa ninjas. He sliced off the arm of the one ninja and tried to attack the captain but he dodged it and retreated.

"Damn konoha ninjas! retreat we're outnumbered! let's regroup with the others." The captain yelled and retreated along with the now one armed Iwa shinobi.

"Go and pursue them" Minato exclaimed.

The anbu checked the condition of the man and the boy. The boy was shaking out of fear but still stood up picked up a kunai and went in front of them to protect his father.

"This boy has an enormous chakra reserve." The anbu was shocked and looks at Minato.

Minato approached them while smiling gently and said "Calm down kid, we are shinobi from konoha. My name is Minato Namikaze, I'm kushina's boyfriend.

"Stand down Touma." The man told his son.

He proceeds to look at Minato and asks "You know my niece? You're her boyfriend? How is she now?"

Minato nods and he smiles and proceeds to tell him personal details about kushina.

"We'll talk more on konoha, I'm going to hiraishin back to the village I'll leave the management of the border to you guys"

Minato gestures to the anbu, and touches him alongside the Uzumaki duo.

(Back in Konoha)

"We're here. I'll bring the Uzumakis to the hospital while you report to the sandaime and please inform kushina about his relatives." Minato tells the anbu.

"Alright, we'll meet you there" the anbu nods and disappeared.

(Hospital)

Minato and the Uzumakis arrive at the hospital and got the uzumakis checked out. After an hour, The hokage and Kushina arrives at the hospital.

"Minato! What happened?! I heard you found my uncle Fuji and my cousin?!" Kushina nervously asks minato in a loud voice.

Minato greets the hokage before answering kushina's questions. "Greetings Sandaime-sama, and Yes according to Fuji-san he is in fact your uncle."

"Minato it was good you got them here immediately, the anbu that accompanied you has already briefed me about the situation. We must find and capture those Iwa nins before they leave our country." The hokage said with a grave expression.

Kushina hugs Minato with tears in her eyes "Thank you for getting them here, I thought I've lost every single one of my family during the destruction of my village. I was so happy when I heard the news that you found some of them. I hope my uncle will be fine."

Minato smiles at her and says "He along with your cousin Touma, are being monitored by the doctor. We should be getting some news soon."

The door opens and a man in a white garment comes out and approaches them.

"Doctor! How are my uncle and cousin?!" Kushina leaves Minato's arms and impatiently asks the doctor.

"The child is fine he is just physically tired along with mental exhaustion and shock. The father though." The doctor bows his head down with a grave expression.

"What?! What happened to my uncle?!" Kushina asks impatiently and nervously.

"His situation is grave and he may not survive the night, I don't know what he did but his veins and arteries are dying and we can't transfer the blood that he needs to sustain his life. He is awake it would be wise if you talk to him." The doctor leaves them.

"No! No! No! Minato I can't lose my family again!" Kushina cries and hugs minato.

"Kushina we must hurry to your uncle as he doesn't have much time. You also have to be strong you still have your cousin."

Minato nods at the hokage and they proceed to walk to the Uzumakis room.

When they went in they see a child crying while talking with his father.

Kushina rushes in and goes to her uncle.

"Minato that child's chakra reserve is enormous." The hokage exclaimed. He was shocked at how the chakra levels of a young boy can rival those of the kage.

Minato smiles at the hokage's remark.

"I was shocked about that too, maybe it's because he is a full blooded Uzumaki"

Sarutobi nods and proceeds to watch the Uzumakis' reunion.
