Chapter 6: Initiate

School ended I went home. I watched some series, played games, ate dinner with my family and went to sleep.

Next day

I forgot that today is farewell party and went to school. Everbody was all dressed up even Marina, and on the other hand I was wearing casual clothes because I forgot. The teacher came to me and asked.

"Lia why are you wearing casual clothes?"

"I forgot that today is the party haha..." I said awkwardly laughing.

"Seriously a top student like you forgot? Well don't worry you can go to the second floor there are seniors students who are doing makeup and they have dresses as well you go there and get ready, everyone is in the hall room so when you get ready go there."

"Ok." I said going upstairs.

I went to the second floor I saw a classroom the door was open, I went inside and saw three girls were standing there. I told them that the teacher sent me here to get ready.

"Oh yeah come come we'll get you ready in no time." said one of the girls.

"Yeah don't worry, first choose a dress for yourself there are only two dresses left." Said another girl pointing at them.

I was looking at the dresses and right away I knew which one to wear, one was green and the other one was red and obviously I like red so I chose the red dress. They started doing make up first and then I wore my dress in the end they did my hair.

"Oh look you look beautiful." said one of them.

When I saw my face I did look different. Marina came in the classroom.

"Lia let's go- oh wow you look good." said Marina as she entered the classroom.

"Thanks, let's go." I don't know how to take compliments.

We went to the hall room together, when I entered the room everyone was there, it was full, I saw a chair and I sat there. I saw Hazen there he was siting in corner he was wearing black suit.

The music starts and everyone started dancing with their partners. I was just sitting there smiling, a guy came to me and asked to dance, but I refused because I can't dance. Everyone was dancing and I glanced over Hazen he was just looking at his phone and nowhere else.

The teacher looked at me and came towards me.

"Lia why are you not dancing?" said Ms Amelia.

"I don't want to." I answered with a smile.

"Why?" she asked.

"I don't know how to dance."

"No no you have to, look everyone is dancing you have to dance too." She said.

Ms. Amelia saw Hazen sitting, she told me go and tell him to also dance.

I went to Hazen he was sitting on the couch, staring at his phone as I stood there.

I coughed to get his attention. He looked up and he stared at me which felt like a long time suddenly, he stood up.

"The teacher was saying to move around or something." I said.

For one second he saw my face and suddenly he started looking down, as I was talking to him a boy came to me and asked me to dance I didn't want to dance with him or with anyone but the teacher was looking at me, I thought that I should dance just a bit, I put my hand forward Hazen's hand was on my hand I was surprised at first but then I thought maybe because he doesn't have a partner that's why he wants to dance with me. We went where everyone was dancing, as he held my hand I was nervous to even move.

"Uh I can't dance." I said.

"It's ok just follow my lead." Hazen took my hand.

I followed his lead and we did pretty good. As we stopped dancing everyone was looking at us or should I say the girls were looking because of Hazen.

I told the teacher I am going outside for fresh air. I went outside Hazen followed he was trying to say something but he couldn't.

"You...uh you're looking pretty." He complimented looking here and there.

"Oh thanks…" I answered.

He went inside the hall. Did he just compliment me? Is he ok?
