This is a story about the stuff that most people can't see, but most people can feel it's there just fine…

a blood curdling scream destroys the ears of passersby as a man runs histarically through the bustling streets of Charlotte North Carolina.

It's gonna kill me… alert I'm being chaced by a shadow… it's gonna kill me… alert no one else sees it.. it's gonna kill me, the man's thoughts became a tangled mess of gibberish as the shadow herded him into an alley, before cornering him and embracing him like a frenzied beast.

"Hey dad, let's be together forever," the shadow's distorted voice sounded almost almost human like a little girl.

"No y-you're not her!" the man exclaimed, grasping, for breath like fly in water flapping it's wings in vein, "no, you're not, you're not, your not!!!!!" the deafening sound of silence filled the air, before the clamor of a woman's purse hitting the blood stained pavement became the signal for a symphony of worse and worse shrieks to begin, thundering through the town, the town that serves as the stage for this twisted story, a story of twisted souls and broken people.
