The Secret Room 3
Marbel sneaked into her dad room and moved quietly to his desk, her mum often spent some of her time in here so she had to be quite as possible incase she was in the room... The room was very dark and Marbel could barely see a thing. The light suddenly came on and Marbel froze in her steps.
"Looking for something?"
"pheww" Marbel let out a sigh of relief
"What are you doing here?" Marbel asked her brother who stood in a corner
"I asked first" Trane said
"Looking for a key" Marbel answered
"What key?" Trane asked very curious
"C'mon you didn't answer me" Marbel said
"Was playing hide and seek with Sophie" Trane noted
"But Sophie's in her room, probably asleep by now" Marbel said chuckling a bit and heading to one of her dad's drawer
"She totally forgot about me" Trane sighed
"This got to be it" Marbel said picking up a strange object that was in a box
"What's that?" Trane asked
"Dunno yet" Marbel replied leaving the room and heading straight to Kiana's
"Did you find it?" Kiana asked a bit sleepy
"Not sure, you better get a rest, we'll check it out tomorrow" Marbel said picking up the tray
"Yeah sure" Kiana replied as she made her self comfortable on the bed
"Good night" Marbel smiled and left the room

"Aunty rise and shine" Sophie whispered into Kiana ears
"uhh!" Kiana groaned as she turned to Sophie... She starred at alarm clock by her side, it was 5am in the morning
"You gotta be kidding me" She said grabbing hold of Sophie who laughed playfully. "Why are you awake by this time?" Kiana asked
"Because it's morning" Sophie chuckled pulling Kiana down the bed.
"But I want to sleep" Kiana whined
"No aunty you need to get dressed" Sophie said
"Hey why don't you go check if aunt Marbel is awake" She said
"Right!" Sophie said running out of the room, while Kiana laid back on her bed
"What dah!" she exclaimed noticing something glowing by the side of the painting... She came down from her bed and walked toward the painting...
"What's this" she said picking up a oddly shaped crystal, "It must have fallen off the painting" she thought examining the painting "Ah right" she said finding an opening behind the painting
"Morning" Marbel said as Sophie pulled her into the room
"Morning" Kiana replied drawing out a paper from behind the opening
"What's that?" Marbel asked walking towards Kiana... "I dunno can't read it" Kiana said handing the paper to Marbel
"I also found this crystal" Kiana said giving her the crystal
"wow what is it?" Sophie asked trying to get a good look at the crystal
"It's not a toy" Marbel said shoving Sophie aside "I think this crystal matches the key I found in my dad's room" Marbel said
"Are you guys detectives?" Sophie chuckled
"You are heading back today right?"Marbel asked ignoring Sophie
"yeah... why?" Kiana replied
"Am gonna play with Medal" Sophie said running out of the room
"Hey don't go...." Marbel paused knowing she won't hear her anyway
"Since you'll be on your way soon, let check out the passage" Marbel said pulling out the key from her shorts and connecting it to the Crystal
"A perfect match" Kiana said grabbing the flash light from her desk.
Marbel placed the key in the lock and it opened exposing a large room filled with books
"What is this place?" Kiana asked looking around
"A library with actual books" Marbel laughed collecting a book from a shelve.
Things where advanced now, the library was more of digitalised room filled with holographic devices all you needed to do was input the book you needed and get it transferred to your phone all the libraries had this technology well except the one at the training camp which still had a few books in it for confidential reasons, so seeing a room filled with books was rather strange.
"Why does your dad have this?" Kiana asked
"I dunno" Marbel said, the room was so large it would be impossible to go through it in a day
"Marbel" her mum called
"Oh no my mum hates the fact that am investigating my dad's death, she'll be so mad we better get back" Marbel said rushing out of the library while Kiana followed behind.
Kiana couldn't help but think of what great facts those books held as she left the library.
