Hidden Truth

Kiana walked to apartment still thinking of the secret room, she just wanted to grab a few things then head back so she could explore it with Marbel. She noticed a group of men dressed in black fitted leather suit hover round the apartment. "what now?" she said to herself...

"I don't think you should be around here" A familiar voice said from behind her, she froze at first but then realized that it was only Tyler.

"I thought you were still mad at me?" She said turning to face him

"You should go back" He said ignoring her statement

"Who are they?" she asked turning back to face the men moving around her apartment

"Desmond's men, am not sure what they want" Tyler replied "would you like a ride back" he added pointing to his vehicle, he had an air rover

"No thanks, I'll walk" Kiana said a bit uneasy. She wanted to ask who Desmond was but changed her mind, she was already bothered by the chip supposedly planted in her and didn't want to go any deeper.

"Umm, ok then" Tyler replied. Kiana watched him walk to his vehicle and blast off and chills passed through her spine, she wondered how people coped driving those things, she had never been a fan mostly because she felt it was unstable especially when it was in the air, she preferred the land vehicles mostly used by old people installed with auto-drive programming, she chuckled as she remembered the time she had told her dad she wanted one, he laughed so hard. "The auto shop" she said as something flashed through her mind. Her father spent so much time there before he disappeared "I should check it out" she noted heading to a teleporting pod and typing in the direction to the auto shop.

On arriving the auto shop she noticed it had been shut down... She starred around the place and made her way in through a broken window. "such a mess" she thought to her self as she observed the environment.

"STATE YOUR BUSINESS" a voice said from a screen that appeared in front of her as the power in the auto shop came on

"Suzy it's me... Kiana" she replied starring at the screen... Suzy was a program installed by the owner Stan.

"Welcome back Kiana, I haven't seen you in 10 years 7months 2weeks and 6days" Suzy said

"I missed you too" Kiana laughed "What happened here?" she asked

"After your dad went missing, Stan went in search for him but never came back" Suzy replied " There is a message for you in the safe behind the counter" Suzy said and Kiana went behind the counter to the safe. "I will help you with the combination" Suzy said and after a while the safe flew open. "A capsule" Kiana said taking it out of the safe.

"I would advise you open it at home, some agents come here all the time" Suzy said

"Will you be okay here?" Kiana asked

"I am a program, I am meant to protect valid information of the auto shop... I am a 100% ok" Suzy said before shuting down. "Good bye Suzy" Kiana said leaving the auto shop.

"You sure took your time" Marbel said watching Kiana arrive the mansion "No one's home right now so let's go explore" Marbel grinned

"sure" Kiana said entering the mansion

"Hello Kiana" Medal said, he was doing something in the kitchen

"Hi" Kiana replied

"He likes exploring new recipes" Marbel chuckled heading to Kiana room.

Kiana brought out the capsule from her bag "I think my dad left a message for me" Kiana said sitting on the bed

"Let's hear it then" Marbel said... If her father was somehow connected to Kiana's father maybe something in the message would help her find out who was responsible for his death.

Kiana turned on the capsule and a screen appeared over it, she played the first clip and saw Stan. "Kiana am glad you got this message, this might be a bit hard to believe or understand, there's a chip in you and am not sure of it one bit. I have known your father for years. Him coming back with a new face and all just doesn't make me comfortable. He is different" He said looking through some files while Marbel held onto her "This is Tyler don't bother looking for him, he'll find you...I had my doubts about him but I think he can help... I hope am not wrong" he said looking around a bit frightened before cutting the video.

"What happened?" Marbel said

"Dunno, I'll play the second clip" Kiana said, she wondered what Stan meant by her father being different before playing the second clip

"They are after me so I'll have to go into hiding, You can't trust everybody... you have to be really careful. I know of someone Steve Stang..."

"That's my dad" Marbel said interrupting

"He can be of help... oh no they here... Kiana you yo u ha have to be careful..." The video began to break and eventually stopped playing

Kiana busted out in tears "What could have happened to him?" she said "and what did he mean when he said my dad was different" she added

"Maybe something in the secret room will help us find out" Marbel noted and they both starred towards the direction of the secret passage.
