It was sort of great to be alone for once, considering that Lucas had not left her side since she left Ethan’s house that day. Ethan… the thought of him alone brought tears to her eyes as she wondered what he must be thinking of her. Ethan, her Ethan whom she had prayed would love her had practically knelt in front of her and begged her to give him a chance, but she had been unable to do anything all because of that stupid Lucas. Chloe did not know the plans that Lucas had for her, but she knew that they could not be good. It was clear that he did not have a single romantic interest in her anymore, and it was probably for the best because if he dared touch her in that way, she was sure she would not run mad.
