Chapter 74

"Ekko Makena Afia, I love you..." Rangiku said as she kissed him. Ekko just layed there and accepted the kiss as he was still in shock...not too long after Rangiku fell asleep.

Accepting the reality of what Rangiku had just proposed he just looked at her she fell asleep peacefully on his chest" I promise I'll take care of you, protect you, and love you with everything I have."

He smiled gently at her before slowly falling asleep himself.

{3 Days Later: Yakushi Inn}

After Ekko and Rangiku had their date and became one, they confirmed their relationship in the morning and spent the rest of the day in bed just cuddling and spending time together.

Rangiku was the happiest she's ever been and had even texted Cana and Ruben about their relationship which then got spread around and now basically Ekko's entire friend group knew that they were a thing.

After the two got back to Yakushi all the girls decided to celebrate with a girls' night out while Ekko, Ruben, and Machio had a guy's night out.

Ekko had Invited Machio and he accepted so the two got acquainted and even seemed to have hit it off.

And so a few days later beside's his new relationship with Rangiku nothing much has happened.

Though he did wonder when the last of the tenants would show up the system had affirmed that they would be coming any day now so Ekko was ready for them.

Today he wasn't going to be at the Inn as he needed to go pick up his School uniform, he wasn't getting a tour of the school today but he would be getting it on the day.

The school Ekko was going to was called Yakusa High school, it wasn't too far away from the town of Yakushi, just a 15 minutes train ride and a five-minute walk.

Before heading to the school however he visited granny chio to make sure she was okay and helped or assisted anyone in the market that might have needed it.

After that he finally set off to his new school, meanwhile none the wiser that the new tenants had already arrived at the Inn.

Yakusa High school was a school that only accepted special students, whatever that even meant. It was established in the 1920s and even has a long history of influential alma figures coming from this school.

Around 300 to 450 students get in every year, and looking at the school up close Ekko was shocked to see how big and grand it looked.

" Is this really a public school, it looks more like a private institution." Ekko thought as he stood in front of the massive barred gates.

As Ekko was admiring the school he noticed that someone was walking towards him from the other side.

As they approached the gates of the school opened and Ekko was finally able to get a good look at who he presumed to be one of the teachers.

" You must be Mr. Afia, it's finally nice to meet you. If you would please follow me, there are still a few papers that you need to sign before receiving your uniform." The smartly dressed woman said in a kind manner.

"Lead the way, Ms." Ekko said as he followed behind the woman.

Meanwhile, as Ekko was out Cana was lazily watching tv while drinking a glass of sparking apple juice. But as she was watching her favorite k-drama, the inn's Doorbell suddenly Rang.

" Mhh!! I wonder who that could be." Cana thought as she paused the tv and stood up from the sofa.

After getting to the gates she opened the doors.

" Hai! hai!, this is the yakushi Inn how may I...huh.. you..." Cana pointed in surprise.

"You...what are you." And the person in tow also pointed at Cana in surprise.

" Cana???"

" Ahri???...and You to kai'sa, what are you two doing here." Cana asked.

After walking to the teachers' staff room, he sat down with the assistant teacher and signed any papers he needed to before she happily handed him four pairs of uniforms, two uniforms for the winter and summer, and two pe kits for winter and summer.

" With that done your all set, I hope you have a wonderful time here at Yakusa High Mr. Afia, all the teachers and students here a very nice and approachable, you'll fit right in." The assistant teacher said as she gave Ekko an encouraging look.

Ekko nodded and gave the teacher a bow of respect before leaving. Ekko decided that he was in the mood for some ramen so he found a local shop and eat there.

He even thought about inviting Koizumi for some ramen but since she was most likely busy preparing for school he decided otherwise, so he just ate a bowl of Ramen all by his lonesome.

Which also reminded him that he still had yet to use all his ichiraku ramen tickets. He would use one tonight to celebrate going to school, he also needed to call his uncle to remind him.

After the delicious meal, Ekko left the ramen shop satisfied and was walking to the station but on his way there, he saw a purple-wrapped Lamborghini parked outside a convince store.

The back wheels of the car were popped and it looked like the driver must have made an emergency stop, just as Ekko was about to leave, the dormant system decided to finally show up after so many chapters.

"Hahahaha so that's how it is, well i wish you luck on trying to convince the kid." Cana laughed out loud as she sat with Kai'sa and Ahri, acquaintances she had actually met not too long ago.

It was after the fashion show when she, Rangiku, Eris, masane, and Sasha decided to celebrate while Ekko and Ruben went to eat somewhere else and catch up.

Sasha was actually friends with the famous singer and knowing that she was at the fashion show as well decided to invite her for a drink.

Ahri accepted but asked if she could bring some of her friends and the rest of us didn't really mind so they were introduced to Ahri, kai'sa, Akali, and Evelyn.

Evelyn and Rangiku really hit it off while she got along well with Akali and Eris got well acquainted with Ahri and kai'sa.

So the group of 9 went around some bars having fun, and causing mass destruction in their wake, well it was mostly Cana and a random red-headed woman that could even match Cana when it came to holding her liquor.

" So you were actually talking about this Inn when you said all four of you would be moving outside Tokyo, this almost feels like fate."

" Oh ye, where is that landlord of ours, is he out somewhere." Kai'sa asked curiously, she was excited to meet Ekko again and show him some moves she had come up with.

" Mhh, Ekko should be back in an hour or two, he's just sorting out some stuff outside, but in the meantime, since I'm your dorm mother it's my responsibility to get you acquainted with the Inn."

"I'll show you to your rooms before giving you a rundown of where things are...oh where are Akali and Evelyn by the way, weren't they also moving with you."

" They are but Akali said there was an underground Rap battle taking place so she would come after that was over and Evelyn seems to be having car problems so she will be coming when she's got it fixed."

" Got it, alright then let me show you to your rooms then." Cana said as she took a swig of her non-alcoholic bottle of sparkling apple juice.
