THREE CROWN SOUL.

Despite hearing countless tales about him, she couldn't summon the courage to meet his gaze – the prince rumored to wield power over death itself, or perhaps embody it. As his cold, husky voice commanded her removal, fear gripped her, her heart racing. She couldn't fathom why her sister had drawn the attention of such a cruel prince. Determined to shield her sister from harm, even at the cost of her own life, she pleaded desperately, defying the prince's order. Her actions shocked onlookers; challenging the empire's crown prince was unheard of, yet she persisted, seemingly indifferent to her own fate. In a moment of impulsiveness, she grasped his sleeve, pleading for mercy. The prince, Kim Kyong, enraged by her audacity, turned his gaze upon her. Realizing her peril, she withdrew her hand, resigning herself to her fate. Kim Kyong's guards, perceiving her as a threat, readied their weapons. Bracing for the worst, she awaited the fatal blow, only to be met with the unexpected sound of their retreat. As she cautiously opened her eyes, she found the prince kneeling before her, his gaze locking with hers. And with just two words, he sealed her fate.. This book cover isn't mine. Chapter 24: I'll Find You.

CHAPTER 24: I'll Find You.

Chin Bada heaved a deep breath, tears were falling freely, it was an emotion she couldn't hold back, she had tried so hard to forget it but it refused to go, it refused to leave her alone and let her be.

She stared at the main building not too far from her, it's been long since she last stepped into it. The last steps she remembered that related to this house was the step she took out of the mansion.

She doesn't even know where to find her daughters. Everything is just so tiring.

••-------••

Eastern Region.

Kim Kyong was studying the map of the war but his mind kept on drifting to the Chin Ari. Her face was still clear in his mind like a clear glass and at the same time his mind was also on the still commencing war.

Lately the Kongs have relaxed their attacks since they've been defeated badly since Kim Kyong's men. Theyve taken over and it has been giving a huge turn around to their well made plan.

It's been two days now and the Kongs haven't made any step in raising any attack, though everyone still had their doubts about them giving up, they were happy they were gone, even if it is just for now.

All they needed to do now was to invest all that was needed into this place and develope it back. They were able to capture some Kongs but the men were though head, no matter the torture, they'll still not say anything which was more than annoying.

He snapped out his thoughts and focused on the map in front of him. The Kongs couldn't be gone and he just found a perfect place for them to hide. Not too far away from the Forest, there is a waterfall and behind it is a coven. No one can ever know about that but he has been there before, so he knows.

That would be the next place his men would search before he starts to look for Chin Ari. She shouldn't be too far away and she sure isn't married by now. She doesn't have a father so getting her married won't be an easy task for the mother alone.

Unlike Chin Ari who has no hint of what happened in Draganial since she returned, Kim Kyung could remember everything clearly, he knew where he belonged and couldn't help but wonder where exactly she is now.

The last time he saw her was at the Late Commander funeral, crying her eyes out, he had the hunch that she was the Spirit Dragas but let it off and went away to ward away the feelings.

He wondered if she actually saw him that day....he wished, no he doesn't!.

"It's not a crime to admire someone, is it?"

Her voice, her calmness and gentleness was so worthy to admire. Those are the things that he lacked. He felt really different for the first time.

Her voice sounded like that of an innocent white angel but his...it was more like one that could murder a little child, he's extremely impatient but she still remained calm throughout Sook-ja's aggressive behavior.

"Chin Ari..... I'll find you"

He was so lost but not too lost not to realize that there was someone in his tent....He turned to check out who it was, he was so alert and ready to attack at any moment.

In the next second, the maid who was holding a tray of fruit was trembling so badly and the tray on her hand fell to the ground, her breathing became uneven. The side of the dagger was so close to her neck it was ready to slit if anyother close move was taken.

"M.M.....

What Kim Kyung hated the most was people disrupting his thoughts and privacy and this maid just did so. She on the other hand tried her possible best to just sneak in and out without him noticing her.

She was so scared to the point that she lost consciousness, she knew fully well that by the time she wakes up, her ancestors will be giving her a grand welcome to their clan.

"Useless weaklings." He was completely annoyed. Weak people sure came from another universe, different from his. He easily gets annoyed by their behaviors.

Kim Kyong didn't spare her a second glance before he crossed her body and walked out of the room. Immediately he set foot outside, the jolly environment became ice cold, everyone immediately got on their knees and bowed deeply, their heart hitting hard against their chest.

They were wondering where the maid that went in there was, she couldn't be dead.....could she?

After what seemed like eternity, he walked away from their midst and they returned back to their usual self. It wasn't a fast process of recovery either for them. Even their Emperor isn't as cold as him. Sometimes they wish they weren't even working under him.

He walked over to where his first and third commanders were training together. Jong ho and Kwang Sik were having a tough training period but the instant Kim Kyung got there, all of their effort and stress went down the drain.

At first he asked how long they've been fighting and was informed that they've been on like this for about three hours. All of a sudden he raised his hands to stop the fight before dismissing the onlookers, actually expecting him to also watch the fight and be eager to watch who was going to win but they almost forgot he doesn't act like the human they are.

Jong ho and Kwang Sik bowed immediately, they stopped the challenge before they walked towards him. They didn't look stressed out at all, instead they looked like ones who were just cut of from their access to glory.

"My prince....

He cut them off before they could even raise a proper greeting. "Divide the men and place them in different parts of the forest side to inspect.....any suspicious person should be killed"

"Understood." They both bowed again.

He turned around to leave and signaled to Jong Ho to follow him, the young man immediately went with him. "Gather some men, tomorrow we'll be leaving", Kim Kyung informed him.

Jong ho didn't bother to ask why, since he didn't give a reason why it simply meant that he wasn't interested. I'm sharing it with him. "Consider it all done my prince." he replied.
