CHAPTER 25: Something Similar.

"How is my room!It's pretty right?" Chin Won asked, she immediately took the band on the shelf and packed her hair with it.

"It's pretty." Chin Ari replied with a smile.

"That witch Chin Hwa, she took over my room, she's really annoying and arrogant because her father is now in full control of the family farm. I doubt their sincerity and I feel they are stealing some money." she voiced out her long kept thoughts.

She sighed before pouring water for Chin Ari and Chin Sun before sitting on the bed. "Poor you, you'll get a role soon and I'm sure that once grandmother sees you, she'll immediately find someone to wed you off to just like me...I hate that woman!"

Chin Ari knew her grandmother didn't like her from the start because she felt that her mother cheated on her father to give birth to her and the marriage stuff..no way! But the most shocking thing now is that Chin Won is getting married.

"To who?" Chin Ari immediately sat beside her and held her gently. Chin Won hissed bitterly and pouted.

"He' s handsome though but I heard he is a farmer's son as well and he also has some unknown business with the Dark Lord of the Region....I tried persuading grandmother but the old hag won't even spare her a glance", she really looked hurt even though it didn't reflect in her voice.

Chin Ari suddenly tensed up, she had heard so many things about this Eastern region. Maybe because of its monetary value and possession, it has so many deadly people living in it and Chin Won was about to get married to one of them.

"What about your parents?" Chin Ari asked.

"Father died three years ago and mother has no say in the family. I don't know what uncle is using her to do but she only comes home once in a while and when she comes I feel something so different about her.

Sometimes she would refuse to go with him and he would threaten not to give her her share in the family earnings and that's all we could depend on for now." She really sounded sad this time.

Out of all she said the only pint Chin Ari grabbed was that her father was dead. "Uncle Chin is dead.....I'm sorry." she wondered how the girl would be feeling after losing her father, it would really be bad so she can relate.

Chin Won shrugged and stood up "what had happened had happened."

Chin Ari really felt sad for her and had a bad feeling that something similar was going to hit her soon... Marriage. All the grandmother's she has met are all wicked....if not because of the fact that she was going to become one oneday se won't wish for a long life for them.

"The maids would soon deliver the boxes in the carriages,go and clean up while I take Chin Sun to her room to relax....

"I'm not tired and I'm not going anywhere, I actually like your company as well so I'll just stay here with you." Chin Sun said stubbornly and got on the bed. Chin Won didn't expect the girl to be this way, she thought she already made it clear earlier that she doesn't entertain kids.

"Hey little girl, come down from my bed and follow me this instant or I drag you out using force and get it with me, you won't like my company anymore and I mean it!" Chin Won didn't sound nice at all,it was like she would erupt any moment soon.

Chin Ari immediately interfered. "Chin Won Calm down....why can't Chin Sun stay here, she has been sleeping with me since she started to become this mature and doesn't want us splitted.....

The soon to be erupted Chin Won sighed deeply and faced Chin Ari with a gentle gaze before saying with a glint of regret in her tone.."Must you always sound so nice and pure." She then faced Chin Sun with a harsh gaze. "You can only stay here because of your sister but that will only be permitted for three weeks and during this period, you lay the bed, and get the clothes ready for the maids." she stated her condition.

"Agreed." Chin Ari immediately agreed, those were simple things to do and of course she was going to assist her so it would be faster and at the end of the day even Chin Won won't want to let her go anymore.

"Good"

While her daughters were having good company there,Chin Bada wasn't feeling okay at all. It was a good thing the old woman wasn't feeling too well and had been bedridden for days now.

The first person Chin Bada met when she entered the room was her second sister in law Chin Hee, the forever bad mouthed wife of Chin Hyuk. When she saw Chin Hee, she immediately ran to the door and checked if someone was there before she returned back and smirked. "The last time I saw you leaving you left with someone, where is that someone now?"

Chin Bada turned and started walking away but this action didn't stop Chin Hee from blabbering loudly. She sat on the nearest couch and cross leg." Now that he is gone and there's nothing to depend on you've finally decided to return to live off us with your children and place your burden on us."

Chin Bada steps suddenly came to an abrupt stop. Letting this woman go without giving her a reply would only make her say more about it in the future.

"You still have that dirty guts in you to face me after all what you did, you should actually be on your knees begging me to make the rest of your life here easy now that I'm back but be thankful I didn't return to take what is rightfully mine back but instead to make another means living for myself and my children"

Chin Hee who sat cross legged on the couch scoffed out of annoyance before giving a reply after a few seconds of silence. "What is rightfully yours here? Nothing! Do you think the money we got years back is yours? It's for everyone cause we are all his family, well good thing he is dead now if not I'm sure we'll still be stuck in that dirty and ugly poverty kind of life.

If only you had a son who would go into the military and suffer the same good fate as his father we would have progressed but you only have a bunch of nuisance in you! Always giving birth to girls girls girls who would end up getting married and forgetting their real background."

She continued ranting and ranting and ranting non stop trying her best to provoke the so-called senior sister in law. At least she has managed to get rid of one temporarily, she must also get rid of this new obstacle.

She only wants to be the stable daughter in law of the family, she also came from a very reputable family which gave her a very high societal status from the start. Soon theoldwoman would pass away and it would just be her and her husband and not some widows.

"You also have a daughter Chin Hee and you are a woman as well, don't you think you just gave a perfect description of who you are and what you always do?" Chin Bada faced her fiercely.

She really got annoyed when Chin Hee said it is a good thing that her husband is dead and even reminded her she doesn't have a son. Well it doesn't even matter if she had a son or not but she knew deep in her that she also wanted a son.

If only she had a son, there's no way things would be though there would always be a small hope somewhere and now this fool just reminded her of everything. INTENTIONALLY!

"The fact that you have a son is the thing you should've mostly been ashamed of. He's out there roaming aimlessly and endlessly without any hope left in him and here you are being proud that you have a son!"

Chin Hee fumed when she heard that. She could accept the truth just like the saying 'the truth is bitter'. She knows her son is not just useless and irresponsible but he is the exact word himself. There's no where he goes he won't bring shame to their family.

"At least I have one!"She stood up from the chair and started walking away angrily, stomping her foot hard as she walked away.

"A useless one." She mumbled and walked away in another direction
