THREE CROWN SOUL.

Despite hearing countless tales about him, she couldn't summon the courage to meet his gaze – the prince rumored to wield power over death itself, or perhaps embody it. As his cold, husky voice commanded her removal, fear gripped her, her heart racing. She couldn't fathom why her sister had drawn the attention of such a cruel prince. Determined to shield her sister from harm, even at the cost of her own life, she pleaded desperately, defying the prince's order. Her actions shocked onlookers; challenging the empire's crown prince was unheard of, yet she persisted, seemingly indifferent to her own fate. In a moment of impulsiveness, she grasped his sleeve, pleading for mercy. The prince, Kim Kyong, enraged by her audacity, turned his gaze upon her. Realizing her peril, she withdrew her hand, resigning herself to her fate. Kim Kyong's guards, perceiving her as a threat, readied their weapons. Bracing for the worst, she awaited the fatal blow, only to be met with the unexpected sound of their retreat. As she cautiously opened her eyes, she found the prince kneeling before her, his gaze locking with hers. And with just two words, he sealed her fate.. This book cover isn't mine. Chapter 18: That Urge.

CHAPTER 18: That Urge.

"You!" Sook-ja half yelled through gritted teeth. "You'll pay for this!" Her face was red and burning with fury. I suddenly felt contented.

I'm sure it isn't my words that were affecting her but rather it was how calm I remained through out. It made her feel like a dog barking at a lifeless cockroach cause she's acting like a dog. A paranoid one!... I'm not a lifekess cockroach tho.

I gave a small smile and asked. "Do you like him?.....If you like him but can't confess your feelings to him or maybe you did but he didn't accept you doesn't mean that you can vent it out on just some simple admirers like me"

Sook-ja felt embarrassed, she stood up and left. Others must be wondering what went wrong that made Sook-ja look like a fierce demon and I, look more like an angel.

Don't these people feel like they are prisoners, kept in a beautiful room for a long time with nothing interesting to do, it's really boring.

Kim Kyong stared at Chin Ari for a while before looking away. What exactly was she doing here? The first time he met her, he knew she was the spirit dragas and that was during the funeral of the Chief Military Commander.

As at that time, he just ignored her presence and walked away not interested in the whole teary and morning scene but he felt the urge to move closer to her back then and console her but he couldn't cause he didn't want to. He lacked emotions, feelings and any other thing that made him feel drawn to anyone.

At least, as at that time he was reigning freely over his body, mind and emotions and he could do whatever he wanted to do but not now when his inner beasts have more control over him. He hardly had the power and authority over his body. They keep struggling to take over just like now.

It was easy to ignore her back then but now?. Not now that he was loosing it. Not now that he wanted to move closer to her but he couldn't understand this strange feeling. It isn't fate thats drawing her to him, right?

Well, Kim Kyong isn't a man who believes in the structure of fate, he plans his own fate with the edge of his sword, with the touch of blood. His body longed to go closer to hers but he fought the feeling.

Chin Ari on the other hand, swore that she saw him turn his gaze when she was having her little interaction with Sook-ja. She was thirsty and craved for water badly. Her eyes darted around the walless room maybe she could find somewhere to get the water from.

--Chin Ari's Pov--

"Ari Jun."

I turned to where the voice came from. It was Se Uhn. "Oh. Do you want anything from me?" I asked.

"Let's take a walk around."

" Hmm? " I was confused. Do I look like a puppy. "Oh, a walk. I'm tired, actually, I need water." I looked deep into his eyes. He really looked dangerous but not to me, if I'm not blind, compared to the other time, he looks... Maybe gentle.

He snaped his fingers again like he did the other time and a glass cup appeared on his eyes, it contained water. I narrowed my gaze. He doesn't expect me to drink that, does he?. "Should I drink this?" I asked as I accepted the cup from him.

A soft wind blew pass me and the next thing the man I had been admiring appeared in front of me like a demi god. "Stay away from her." His voice was firm and laced with unsaid warnings.

Heavens! He had a very cool voice. Bold and husky. But what was wrong with him? Why should Se Uhn stay away from me? Why is he being so cold?

Se Uhn smirked. The glass cup was with me. I sat in between the two as my eyes darted from one to the other. They both looked cold and scary. I gulped down my saliva and stared down at the water with me. All eyes were on us.

All I wanted was just water and now that I have it, I can't even drink it but no one is stopping me from drinking it.

"If you are sure you are thirsty, you'll drink up." He said. Heaven knew I didn't trust the content but it was just a dream, even if I drank it, I won't die in reality, right ?

I gulped all the content in at once. My thirst was equivalent to that of a camel at this moment. I felt relieved after I was done drinking it.

"Can we take a walk around now?" Se Uhn asked me. Probably ignoring Kim Kyong.

Oh no, what's up with this mess now. I already drank the water I requested so there's no way I would turn him down but not in front of this fierce and killing gaze.

"She isn't going anywhere with you." Kim Kyong held my other hand as Se Uhn acted like a gentle man and decide to help me up. Both their touches were hurting me. It was like charges were passing through their palms into my body.

"Wait, let me go first." I pleaded, calm as usual. But this men weren't moved.

"Kim Kyong!" Se-Uhn called through gritted teeths, his voice laced with unsaid threats. Kim Kyong wasn't moved. Non of the two were pulling me which was something to be glad about. I could see Sook-ja from the corner of my eyes. She was fuming green!

If this is a dream. Please, I want to wake up. I want to wake up. I just want to get out of here. Please, please, please. Their touches are killing and I couldn't even bring myself to caution them out of fear. I just want to vanish like they say I always do and return home.

I shut my eyes tight as I felt a sharp pain in my chest. My wrist were no longer hurting, like it got freed from bondage.

Kim Kyong and Se Uhn stood tall in front of each other, they both looked intimidating and their cold and deadly vibe silenced them all.

"Why are you being so possessive over what isn't yours Kim Kyong?" Se Uhn was paranoid but he masked it all with a smirk. At least, he already built up a connection in Chin Ari so there's no way he won't be able to get to her again.

"We'll see about that. Remember, She's mine." Kim Kyong said and Se Uhn smirk became more firm, more of that of mockery. "Stay Away." With that he turned around and started to walk away.

'Is he leaving already?' Everyone couldn't help but wonder.

Sook-ja who saw him heading in another direction immidiately went in that direction as well. The question changed: 'where is she going?' Is what's currently in everyone's mind.

Eun Mi was so close to her brother, she knew what he just did now that gained Kim Kyong's attention. She walked towards him and said, her voice like a whisper. "You shouldn't have done that, big brother."

Se Uhn knew that amongst all, there were two people who he knew would notice what he did just now. He smiled and crouched to Eun Mi's level. "If you really want her someday, in our lives. Then I wont loose her. Hmm?"

"Hmm"

"Kim Kyung, are you leaving already?" Sook Ja finally stopped running and asked while trying to steady her breath.

"Do you have a reason to make me stay?", His husky cold voice asked and he stopped in his track.

She smiled, she really loved his voice. "Actually, I don't", her cheeks were burning red. He spoke to her for the first time. "I....

Before she could continue he was gone, she felt like crying, it was soo frustrating and this was a close catch, the closest she has ever had.
