THREE CROWN SOUL.

Despite hearing countless tales about him, she couldn't summon the courage to meet his gaze – the prince rumored to wield power over death itself, or perhaps embody it. As his cold, husky voice commanded her removal, fear gripped her, her heart racing. She couldn't fathom why her sister had drawn the attention of such a cruel prince. Determined to shield her sister from harm, even at the cost of her own life, she pleaded desperately, defying the prince's order. Her actions shocked onlookers; challenging the empire's crown prince was unheard of, yet she persisted, seemingly indifferent to her own fate. In a moment of impulsiveness, she grasped his sleeve, pleading for mercy. The prince, Kim Kyong, enraged by her audacity, turned his gaze upon her. Realizing her peril, she withdrew her hand, resigning herself to her fate. Kim Kyong's guards, perceiving her as a threat, readied their weapons. Bracing for the worst, she awaited the fatal blow, only to be met with the unexpected sound of their retreat. As she cautiously opened her eyes, she found the prince kneeling before her, his gaze locking with hers. And with just two words, he sealed her fate.. This book cover isn't mine. Chapter 17: Deal With It.

CHAPTER 17: DEAL WITH IT.

Standing up for her now would make her have a weak self defense later on. Duri-joon and the Jun sisters left the room but before they left, Duri-joon tapped her shoulder reassuringly while her sisters just smiled.

Immidiately they left Chin Sun was left in a though spot as sharp daggers began to shoot a her. She felt weird. All this hateful gazes were so strange to her. She didn't know exactly where she offended this people.

"I like your dressing style though", So yi, the fire Daragas flashed a smile at her.

"Thanks," Chin Ari replied and found somewhere to sit, she was so exhausted she felt like drinking water but didn't know where to get one from.

Sook-ja, clearly looking for someone to provoke saw Chin Ari as a perfect target and walked up to her. "Don't you think you are a bit rude?" She asked and scanned her with an evil sneer.

"Sook-ja, let the poor thing be," So-Yi was clearly enjoying the little banter between the two. "She's just a newbie here." He smirked, sat beside Chin Ari and adjusted her hair behind her ear.

Sook-ja saw her as a clear treaty and instantly felt insecured. She was pretty, yes. But Chin Ari's beauty, elegance and strange aura was all intimidating. She felt this new found Dragas has returned to steal everything from her. "Just leave and never return back!"

Chin Ari smirked. "I like your personality. Actually, I love playing with children. You act just like a child for your age. Don't you think?" Her voice Just as bold and it held a strange pride in it. This lady was just so annoying. She really can't wait to get out of this strange place.

Sook-ja's face became red with embarrassment. Did she just call me a child?. "Arrogant Pig." She hissed and stormed off.

So-Yi smiled as he watched Sook-ja storm off, h then faced Chin Ari who was paying less attention to him. Her gaze ok Eun Mi. He studied her side profile, just like something dawn d on him, he immidiately understood what Sook-ja's insecurity was.

"Why did you decide to return?" He had no intention of asking such questions but just wanted to crack a conversation with her.

Chin Ari scoffed. Why is he being so polite now. She rolled her eyes as she replied. "I don't know and you know what? I don't understand anything about this place. You all look like some gods and goddesses in some picture books."

So-Yi was taken aback by her reply. " Meaning you know nothing about yourself?" She nodded as a reply and faced him. What he wanted, her attention.

" I don't care to know. I don't belong here after all"

He clicked his tongue, she was being the snubbish type.

So-Yi was more of a play boy. Everyone knew him well. Amongst everyone. Two people were not pleased with his closeness to Chin Ari. The Three Crown Soul Dragas, Kim Kyong and the Black Dragas, Se Uhn.

An idea popped into someone's head. With a snap of his fingers, a large board unfolded. "Let's play a game." It wasn't a suggestion, it was a clear order. Amongst the Dragas, he held a very high rank, no one could afford offending him.

Eun-Mi squeaked in excitement and ran towards the board. "Yes! I'm in."

Chin Ari was confused. Everyone seemed excited to play the game and were moving towards the board. So-Yi who was sitting beside her, grumbled some incoherent words and stood up. She was glad. Finally, the pain in her neck was gone.

-Se Uhn's pov-

Eun Mi hurriedly picked up the back and dipped her hand into the bag. "I'll go first big brother." She smiled broadly, her sheepish and beautiful dimple brightening up her gleeful face.

"Sure." Sometimes I wonder how she'll cope on this evil world. She's just too innocent for this world sometimes I feel like creating a new world for her.

As she shuffled the bag by shaking it gently, she moved closer to me and said sheepishly in between giggles. "Don't you think you are staring at her for way too long now. Big brother?"

Caught red handed!

"You talk too much nonsense." I shot her a glare and I saw her stiffle her laughter and she shifted back to her position.

Ari-Jun. Her attention was somewhere else. I traced her sight and saw who she was continiously glancing at. It was Kim Kyong. My forever going to be rival. I didn't know why I felt drawn to her but her drifted attention towards the man I hate with my life agitated me.

"Ari-Jun," I called and she faced me with a slight frown. "come over."

"Oh yes! join us here, we are playing a very interesting game. Hurry, we'll soon start another round." Eun Mi spiced up my order with a teasing smile.

She glanced at the game for a while before politely declining."I don't know how to play it, I'll only slow down the game", Chin Ari replied and Sook-ja hissed.

"Why invite her? judging from the way she looks, she's obviously the snubbish type." Sook Ja's harshful words against her got on my nerves but I my feelings aside.

Chin Ari ignored her and looked away. Sook-ja's just someone radiating a bad vibe so it's better to ignore her.

Eun Mi suddenly stood up and ran towards Chin Ari's side and stood in front of her. Her face radiant as always with a bright smile plastered on her face.

-Chin Ari's pov-

"I'm Eun Mi." The girl playing with bubbles the other time ran towards my direction, stood in front of me and gave an introduction. I crouched to the girl's level and smiled.

"You have a sweet name, I'm Chin Ari"

"Your name is more sweet than mine, I can see that you are feeling lonely but don't worry you are not the only one, you see that man over there, he's also lonely. You two would get along well. " Eun Mi pointed at the man who invited me to play the game earlier.

"Oh." Was all I could mutter. He really looks familiar like she has seen him before. "Who is he? ", I asked.

"He's my brother. The Powerful Black Dragas. He's actually a nice man and need s someone to interact with. But people see. Him as a dangerous person and I think you'll interact well with him."

But he's surrounded by people, how can he be lonely. "What of the man over there. He is the Three Crown Soul Dragas Right?" I inquired. He seems to be the true only one here.

Eun Mi nodded vigorously. "Shh!" she cautioned, placing a tiny finger on her lips. "He doesn't like people calling him that. But his name is Kim Kyung."

"Kim Kyung." I called his name slowly so it would stick.

Kim Kyong was sitting all alone pouring wine for himself and drinking from it. He didn't look lonely, he was really enjoying his lone time like that was his main reason for being here.

"Hey, come over we want to play another game, you should know how to solve dragon jigsaws." So Yi invited me.

Dragon Jigsaws...."A little, I'm not perfect." I replied and stood up from my crouching position.

"Non of us her perfect either." Eun Mi said and started to pull me. She dragged me to her brother's side and made me sit down there beside him before sitting beside me.

"I'll go first." Sook-Ja said and took a puzzle piece from the bag, it was the picture of a dragonfly. Nam-Jun searched for a similar pack and poured the jigsaws pieces down for her to arrange. She was fast and good in arranging it, in less than two minutes, she was done solving the jigsaws

Se Uhn passed the main bag to me and instructed me to pick a piece from it. I dipped my hand into the bag and picked a peice. It was the picture of a dragon breathing fire.

"That's me." Chun-ja, the fire Dragas felt so full of herself.

I could see a face of pride on Sook-ja's face, she's probably hoping for my failure. Mean!. I lied, I was so perfect in solving jigsaws no matter how complex it is so she better get a bowl to shed her tears of defeat in.

Sook-ja smirked. Does she think she can match up to me, no way!

"Done." I flashed Sook-ja a smile and she scoffed bitterly. Eun Mi gripped my hand and squeaked in excitement. I really love her childish vibe. It's just so cute. She and Chin Sun would make perfect friends if they were to meet.

"You are so fast, wasn't she brother." Eun Mi faced Se-Ihn with an expectant look. All he did was 'Hmmm' before taking the bag.

The day was a long and boring one for me. Though I engaged in so many activities. My gaze was mostly on the man sitting not to far from us, I had that urge to move closer to him and bring up a conversations with him. It shouldn't sound stupid if I says her heart craves for him.

Those brief glances didn't go unnoticed by Sook-ja. "I thought you were shameless enough to join a game you are so poor in, you even have the dirty guts to stare at him!", Sook-ja walked over and confronted me.

I looked at her, she looked smart but she was acting so dumb. "It's not a crime to admire someone, is it?." I asked.

Sook-ja was annoyed with the way I spoke to her, it was clear and obvious, she felt like strangling me at the moment, I could read it. "It Is!." She barked and everyone's focus shifted to us, all except Kim Kyong who was probably hearing everything in a distance.

"Then deal with it!." I remained calm which angered Sook-ja more than before. I on the other hand was already fed up with the girl's constant attack. She really made it a hell period for me during the gaming period.
