Talks between friends

The sunlight filtered in the room through the barely opened window on the sleeping girl where her messy exceptionally black and shiny hairs lay lazily all over the pillow. And her caramelized colored skin, filling the room with warmth and freshness. The lump on the bed didn't move an inch but faintly u could hear light breathing. The clock struck to 10 am which was followed by loud blaring from the alarm lock. Groaning to herself and cursing loudly Katie got up to shut the alarm. And flopped again on the bed to sleep. The moment she snuggled in her blankets to finish her beauty sleep, her mobile started to ring rather incessantly. Knowing who the hell might be calling she got up again with a fierce expression and combined with her messed up hairs she rather looked like a witch.

In a rather sarcastic voice Katie said to someone on the phone "My beautiful babe if u don't have anything important to say then just hang up straight way before I kill u."

"Aww!! Did I just disturb my best friend! Plzzz Katie don't kill me, I am feeling so scared." this was the sarcastic voice which greeted her and infuriated her to no end. Who was none other than her best friend Alison.

As her threatening did no good to her she tried a softer approach.

"My dearest Ali please lemme sleep for more 15 mins then I wud be up in a jiffy. I Promise."

Hearing the pleading from her friend, Alison laughed and said "I am outside ur apartment open the door in 10 seconds or I would ring the bell till you go deaf. Your time starts now....10...9...tik tok....8.."

Cursing to herself Katie threw the phone on her bed and went to open the front door for her wicked frnd.

Standing there was her frnd with breakfast in hand and a big smile on face.

"My darling Kate! See I brought u your favourite croissant and hot chocolate coupled up with some grapes."

Always happy to eat her favourite food Kate forgot everything else and jumped on the breakfast holding packets. But before she took them from Ali. She hid it behind her.

" Go and brush your teeth first you idiot!"

Katie looked at her friend with puppy eyes where the brownish hue in her eyes sparkled with mischief and she exceptionally looked adorable.

Knowing this tactic of her friend Alison continued.

"Always eating this n that, in matter of some month you wud become the fattest lady on Earth. So firstly just go and freshen up."

Glaring at her bestie Katie hastily went to fresh up!

And then they both had their beautiful breakfast consisting of croissant, hot chocolate, grapes and cornflakes by sitting in the balcony looking at the beautiful scenery.

"Hey Kate wats up with ur expression. you don't seem to be your own self even when eating your favourite food" Alison said seeing the happy expression of her friend's face change to a sad one.

Kate shrugged her shoulder and replied back "Come on Ali. What sad Expression! I am almost beaming Idiot. Don't try to be Sherlock Holmes!"

Laughing Katie stuffed a croissant in her friend's mouth trying to dismiss her worry.

Chewing her croissant Alison scrutinized her friend with narrowed eyes.

"Really! How clever your acting is I should definitely gift you a Oscar for that! But my dumb Girl I know you more than you know yourself. So come clean with wats wrong."

Looking away from her friend's scrutinizing eyes from whom she could never hide anything. She became silent n looked at the looming mountain WID snow peaks n green lush grass.

Alison tried to persuade her friend.

"See Kate things which might seem very difficult for u and where you might have felt that there's no way out. By sharing them with people close to u might help you alot. coz ur mind right now is clogged with stress n worry so you can't think straight. But others can after calmly thinking give you a proper inference."

Listening this .Kate...looked in her friend's eyes...where all she saw was worry n love in her beautiful blue eyes. For a moment Katie was mesmerized looking her friend with her hair tied up in a tight bun and some locks of hair swaying the wind coupled up with her messy casual clothes. Her shiny white skin matched her all the good points of her body and with her taller profile.

Coming out of her reverie Katie continued,

"It's not that I don't wanna share. It's just that m scared of even voicing it out. It's kinda weird but.....it's a little fearful too..!!"
