The End.

The windows rattled with the wind as slowly the sky turned dark. The slight flurring of curtains could be heard, which got magnified in the eerily silent house. From the sudden flashes of lightnings we could see a figure sitting in the balcony. Amidst the darkness which is illuminated again in the lightning, the figure stay there unmoving. And we can barely make out a girl in her early twenties sitting there with her hairs fluttering in the wind.

Suddenly Katie gets up from the chair with energy, contrary to her messed up thoughts. She felt very sad, as if she was just a dummy WID no life inside.

Overwhelmed with emptiness Katie trembled n took a stepbag and a single tear slide down her cheek. Looking up towards the stormy sky which so much resembled of how she felt inside. Katie took a deep breath as if she was coming to a decision of what to do. Of how to live.....of how to be herself ever again.

and biggest of all was 'Of how to fill the emptiness inside of her'. Tears started to stream down her face ....as she stood in the balcony of her apartment on the 42th floor.

From which the lightening seemed more scary n the winds much more stormy.

Katie laughed at herself when she thought of her phoebia of lightening. It was a very sarcastic laugh, where she felt so little in front of all the emptiness she felt.

She steeled herself and came to a decision. A final decision of getting free. Drying her tears she held a calm smile on her face n looked up towards the sky, as slowly she edged towards the edge of the balcony.

Standing just behind the railing and looking at the minuscule human beings below Katie got ready to breath her last. To get rid of the emptiness and the big hole tat appeared in her life out of nowhere.

"Matters of love can be sorted only when the person u love loves u back with gusto,

But when that same person doesn't love u.. then u are all alone to face your own battles unknown to the world", Katie loudly said this to the world out there. But her voice got drowned by the thunder.

'A single step is all wat is needed for u to to be free Katie' she told herself.

And tat is how she moved forward to take tat single step towards the end.

But suddenly....
