Chapter 74

As the capital was mostly covered with remains of creatures as well as their blood, a new wave of creatures has come.

Katherine came back and supported the others.

The creatures have fully surrounded the knights when suddenly, the knights distributed from different countries have arrived.

They helped to take down the stronger creatures.

"Hihihihi"

Nash focused her attention and sought to sense the presence of the person who continued laughing wickedly.

Nash ignored it first and aid the others,

'I'll check on you later.'

The creatures' cries could be heard once again. Nash fought with a solemn expression on her face.

"Nash duck!" Nash immediately ducks after hearing Katherine. Suddenly, a large boulder flew through the air and landed on the devils Nash was fighting.

Nash turned around smiling wide, "Woah! That's amazing!"

Katherine smirks and flips her hair.

"This isn't the time for that!" Vincenzo yelled and the two best friends continued to fight.

It's been a few minutes, and the number of animals hasn't decreased.

"I think the one laughing is the one causing these creatures to appear." Raum stated.

"Then our task is to find that creepy laughing guy."

"Hihihihi"

'There it is.'

Nash took a step back to concentrate on finding the bad guy. As Nash concentrated, she became aware of a mysterious presence approaching from behind her, but as soon as she turned, a blade stabbed her in the stomach once more.

"A witch again!?" Nash started to feel pain, "Tell me, who's the one laughing"

"Hehehe why should I tell you?"

'The laugh is different... it's not this.'

The witch was grinning and suddenly she turned the sword around causing Nash to shout in pain.

"Nash!"

Her brothers want to help, but the devil won't let them. Roven escapes, but the black shadow person appears in front of him. He attempted to cut it, but the sword simply passed through it.

Roven was almost cut in half but he used her demon power to strengthen his body, he combined his shadow with his demon and attacked the shadow guy. The shadow guy flew far.

Roven was about to come to her daughter, but Nash stopped him. "Kill him, father! I think he's the final boss!"

Roven followed his daughter and continuously attacked the shadow guy.

"Hihihihi"

Roven became irritated, so he cloaked his blade in shadow and demon aura and attacked the shadow person. As the shadow figure was hit, the shadow body gradually solidified and began to reveal itself.

Meanwhile, Nash was glaring at the witch, 'I can't believe I've fallen for this twice!'

"You're dead," the witch laughed.

"Your laugh is ugly, just like you!"

The witch started to turn the sword inside Nash again, "Ahhhh!"

"You ugly shit!" Suddenly, the witch flew away after getting hit by a boulder. Nash looked and saw Katherine panting.

"Your words are vulgar!" Nash yelled and pulled out the sword as if it was nothing. 'Why is the witch even holding a sword?'

"Does it hurt?" Katherine asked Nash, who was kneeling on the ground gripping her stomach.

"Obviously... Behind you!" Katherine immediately teleported behind the witch and kicked it.

"Woah! I kicked it!" Katherine looked shocked.

"Hihihihihi" Nash looked at her father and saw him getting pointed by a sword by the shadow guy he's fighting.

Katherine teleported beside Nash, "Go to your father, I'll take care of this."

"No, I've been fooled twice, never making it thrice. let's go" Katherine and Nash teleported in front of the witch, who was lying on the ground after getting kicked by Katherine, "Your kick was strong..."

"I know right!" Katherine said, proudly.

Nash leaned in close to the witch and grabbed its neck, saying, "If you want to murder me, go straight to the heart. Oh, you don't know where it is?"

Nash stretched her fingers and her nails grew long and sharp, "I'll tell you where it is... it is here."

Nash's hand pierced the witch's heart and snatched it away, "This is the heart."

The witch looked shocked as she looked at her heart pumping on Nash's palm. Nash smirked and crushed it.

Katherine, who was standing next to her, took a step back and covered her mouth.

The witch was still alive, but she was dying slowly. "If not the heart, then go for the head, you don't know where? It is this one."

Nash twisted the witch's head and threw it on the ground. As she looked at the witch's eyes, the witch began to close her eyes as she saw a demon backing up Nash.

"Goodbye," Nash stomped on the head and crushed it.

Nash turned around to see Katherine vomiting far behind her.

"That's gross!" Nash yelled.

"Really?" Katherine remarked sarcastically.

Nash looked back to his father and saw that his father was about to get crushed by a king orc when she suddenly got teleported beside her father.

She didn't waste any second and crushed the king orc's body with her gravitational ability. "Father! You're weak! You're getting old!"

"Shut up," Nash went to the guy Roven was fighting with. She kicked and punched him but all her attacks were avoided.

"Who are you?" Nash asked,

"Hihihihihi" Nash was suddenly hit by the stomach and flew away.

'That hurts!'

"Cough!" Nash coughed blood,

"You're using too much," Raum said.

"Prepare for the worst, tell Chrollo as well."

"Don't tell me you're going to do 'it'?"

"I am, if things get worse because that is the only way."

"Ahhh!"

"Help!"

Nash looked at the knights fighting, some already can't stand back up and some are trying their best.

'This can't be...'

The shadow guy stamped on Nash's body before she could get back up, "ahh!"

"Hihihihihi, You're the demon vessel aren't you?" The shadow guy smirked, "I was once looking for you... I went to different places acting all nice just so I could find you, but you weren't there... Where did you go?"

"Secret,"

The shadow guy stomped harder, "Don't you act like that to me—"

He was suddenly kicked by Roven, Roven helped his daughter get up.

"Hihihihihi" The shadow guy raised his hand and suddenly, dozens of portals appeared from the sky, from them, creatures started to come out. "This war will never end, hihihihi."

The creatures have multiplied once more, and the knights present are gradually decreasing, forcing the others to fight for their lives.

"I'll do it"

'Just do go overboard, you're not used to this power yet'

"I understand."

Nash looked at her father, "father, cover for me,"

Nash kneeled on the ground and bit her finger making it bleed, she drew a pentagram and stamped the center.

"Shoosuvas"

"Hellhound"

"Girallon"

"Cerberus"

"Runespoor"

"Bahamut"

All of the demon entities mentioned by Nash emerged from the magic circle she made. As the demons came out, Nash vomited blood.

All the demon creatures are 15 ft tall, except the Bahamut which was as big as the king ogre.

"Everyone! Stay back!" Nash yelled.

Katherine supported her best friend and teleported all the knights in the battle behind Nash. In front of Nash were the demons lined up.

"What is that?" Marais whispered,

"Hihihihi... I never thought a lady like you could do that," she looked at the shadow guy, his arm was bleeding heavily after Roven managed to cut off his arm.

"This will end, today," Nash glared at the shadow guy,

"Hihihi are you sure about that? You look pale... perhaps... Are you dying?"

As soon as the shadow guy said that, another thick sword stabbed Nash. She felt as if the sword was sucking her strength away.

Nash coughed blood and looked behind. Her eyes widened at the sight of Katherine holding the sword stabbed in her stomach.

"Katherine..." Nash whispered.

"Sorry," Katherine whispered back and inserted the sword deeper inside Nash's body.

"Nash!" Idris kicked Katherine away, and Squad 15 surrounded Nash.

Yjhan pulled the sword out of Nash.

A tear fell from Nash's eyes,

'Why, Katherine?'
