Chapter 5 Another day Another Adventure

Something interesting I discovered after training my Mana Manipulation all night long and reading some of the books was that I don't feel either hunger or fatigue, which reduces the time I waste doing nothing to basically zero, giving me more time to level up my skills, and thanks to around 7 hours of grinding I was able to gain this much.

With a smile, I closed the notification window that had summarized my gains and stored all my books in my inventory, knowing that in a few seconds.

Someone would open my door so that I could cook breakfast.
I got out and saw right in front of the door Vernon looking at me with an annoyed.
" Go cook Breakfast, you feinted last night and Petunia had to cook again, so you better make this breakfast extra good or else."
I simply nodded, and headed again to the kitchen, while inside my body an emotion I wasn't sure I was able to feel till now started forming.
I felt angry, towards him, my cousin, my aunt, the one who I had asked for help for but simply ignored me, the police, my bullies, everyone, I was angry, and I wanted revenge, but thanks to Gamer's Mind, my anger remained subdued and didn't let me make a mistake, only leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth.
I headed to the kitchen and made the same breakfast as yesterday, but this time thanks to my cooking skill it took less time to prepare everything and everything came out better looking, I also gained a level in it.
Now aware that I didn't have to eat food I decide to store some inside my inventory in case I need healing.
While browsing through my eyes fell on one specific item.

Without thinking twice I stored one of the knives that had the highest durability and continue cooking as if nothing happened.
By the time they had gotten down, I had finished cooking and I was free to do my other errands.

'Same as yesterday, small steps but still going forward that's the only important thing.'
I finished the quest and decide to get in my room to reduce the time I stay with them to the least amount possible.
I decided to browse my minimap and while doing so I noticed something that I didn't see yesterday.
' What is that skull?'
I clicked on it and another screen appeared.

You have discovered your first Dungeon, a dimension created for The Gamer to explore and use as levelling grounds, every dungeon has a suggested level, so it's advised to pay attention to those warnings.
After the completion of a dungeon, the dungeon will be repeatable after a set amount of time, a dungeon is completed after killing the boss.
Must be in the area of the dungeon to get inside it.

'That's exactly what I need.' I thought while smiling
I got out of my room and asked to go out, and unsurprisingly he said yes.
Whenever I go out it's a risk because if I don't get home in time a beating would arrive, so he is more than happy to say yes.
I got out of the house and run to the area where the dungeon should be.

It took around 10 minutes to reach the area of the dungeon, which was a farm.
A notification asked me if I wanted to get inside the dungeon, and after a long breath, I clicked the yes button.
Everything around me changed, the air, the area, the time, everything.
From a farm, I found myself in a green field with white bunnies with horns simply eating grass.
One of them noticed me and started hopping towards me, and as soon as he was in range he lunged towards me way faster than I had thought.
I got hit right in the stomach by one of their horns, reducing my HP but not causing anything else.
But just as the rabbit was about to fall to the ground I grabbed the rabbit by its ears and placed my hand in front of his face.
'Mana Bolt.'
A ball of mana formed in my hand, I willed for it to get released and it hit the bunny right in its face at point-blank range.

The bunny disappears from my hands not leaving behind even a body.
Now knowing what I had gotten myself into, I take out the kitchen knife, which felt much more comfortable in my hand than ever before and started looking around, trying to find the nearest rabbit.
When I saw one minding its own business and not noticing me, I approached it while using Observe.

A normal Monster that has been able to survive until now thanks to their reproduction speed, leg power, and sharp horn.
Has sharp senses and speed comparable to an athlete.

I stopped in my tracks, the sharp sense removed my idea of sneakily approaching them, so I decided to once again use my Mana Bolt skill to start the fight.
The bolt forms and less than a second later it's already going for the rabbit.
But unlike what I expected I didn't hit the head as I had hoped but instead only hit one of its legs.

The bunny turns towards me, anger filling its black eyes.
He started dashing towards me, and not wanting to waste MP I waited for him.
And just as he was about to leap at me, I activate Mana Bolt once again, this time hitting it on its chest.
Due to the force behind the hit, he fell backwards and gave me the chance to hit him in the head with my knife.

Just like before the rabbit disappeared this time thought leaving a rabbit tooth, which got immediately stored in my inventory, curios about what it was I used to Observe it.

Before continuing the hunt, I got out of the dungeon, wanting to check the time, and how much I could stay inside.
' Great, I have three hours, the hunting season is open.'
