CHAPTER 2: You did not leave me? Great I am not alone in this fantasy world!

10 seconds… 10 seconds of pushing my heart towards my right and back were all it took to stage that death. It was not a planned move. All I thought was to "move" my vital organs and veins out of the way from that dagger. And that action caused my pulse to stop and admittedly, I thought I killed myself again.

But just as they leap into the night, I gasp the needed air into my lungs. That caused me to cough and vomit some blood.

Great, I manage to push it out the way and start inhaling the needed oxygen.

The excruciating pain caused me to shiver uncontrollably. I am losing a lot of blood and I can feel the coldness seeping into my body.

But I relaxed and started to scan my body. I can see my injuries and started to induce clot to stop my bleeding. I always can close my external wounds and stop my bleeding. But this is the first time I am doing this inside. I am not a surgeon and I don't have the professional experience to operate someone. But I know my body well. With a very deep breath, I fixed my wounds and stabilize my blood flow. I also fixed my ribs. It was easier for me to fix and heal my bones. When I felt my vitals are out of danger, I relaxed and rested a bit.

I am still not out of danger as I lost a lot of blood. I am exposed to the elements too. If I don't get out of here, I will either die from the elements or attract wild animals and become their dinner.

But I need to rest and get some strength.

There are a lot of plants here. Somehow, when I "divinely" heal my patients, I always borrow plant energy to heal my patients. I didn't try it on such a grave injury like this but I am just trying to borrow some energy so I can at least sit down and scan where I am now.

"Oh, you are not dead…" A voice said. If I have enough strength, I would have jump scared that instant. However, all I can manage is to open my eyes. My heart started to beat fast, something I can't afford to have right now, a racing, injured heart-pumping rush of blood to already abused arteries. I will have a heart attack for sure.

And so with sheer will, I ease my beating heart to normal rate before I look around in search for the source of that voice.

When I saw a translucent figure walking towards me, my heart almost jumped out of my chest again.

"I really can't have this anymore! I will surely die from the scare, not from my injuries" I exclaimed out loud!

I am definitely seeing a ghost right now!

"I am sorry; I didn't mean to scare you. However, you are currently occupying my body and I can't seem to push you out from within me." The ghost replied. She was just above my head, looking down on me as I lay down on the forest ground. I suppose I should be thankful she is not floating above me and still acted like a normal living being, standing on the ground – as far as I can see.

"Are you the real Jun Wei Wei?" I asked, remembering the sad story I just heard from this ghost's twin sister a while ago.

"Yes" it replied.

"Ahem…So I am illegally inside your body? Did I cause you to die?" I asked, thinking that my soul must have pushed her spirit out.

The ghost walked and sat down beside me where I can look at it comfortably.

"No, I was already out of my body. The moment Jun Wun Lu destroyed my meridians, I was already dead. I have a low tolerance for pain." It explained to me. I really can't visualize how one destroyed meridians… and I don't even know how meridians looked like so I can nod just to show I am conscious and listening – not necessarily understanding.

"did you see me going inside your body?" I asked full of curiosity.

"Yes, like a beam of light, you came down from the heavens and flowed into my crown, down into my spine. Like a sea of light, you spread all throughout my body, seeped into my bones and started to push my blood to flow again." Somehow, the ghost is very calm while explaining that to me.

"Aren't you sad you are out there while I am inside here in your body? Aren't you itching for revenge?" Everything that was happening was so surreal that I forgot the meaning of the words "doubt", "strange" and "impossible". I am weak as well so the logical side of my brain is not functioning. And so, my inquires to the ghost were seriously asking for factual matters I will believe so I can use the information to take a grip on everything that was going on.

"All I can feel in my heart right now is coldness. I was waiting to crossover but somehow, I am still here, looking at myself. I didn't even feel when my sister stabbed me in my heart." The ghost said.

"Of course you can't feel anything, you weren't inside your body, I was!" I thought painfully. "Lucky ghost". I grimaced from the pain but I pushed myself up to sit down. Looking around, I searched for the closest tree I can sit and lean on.

When I saw one, I crawled over there and positioned myself to be comfortable, the best I could. The action caused me to cough some more blood. "Phew! This is exhausting" I thought.

"So, where do we go from here?" I asked the ghost. I am not really familiar with this world. "Do you have some plans?" I probed.

The translucent ghost has a white Chinese dress on. The night is windy, it is giving me "ghost bumps" (not really the ghost) caused me to shiver more.

The ghost Jun Wei Wei sighed. "I suppose I should be full of hate at this moment and tell you to avenge my death. But with death, somehow, I feel so detached. I can only share with you my memories so you will be guided as you live my life, moving forward." It said.

"Wow, all the novels I read would have the owner of the body going berserk for revenge. But this one seemed to not care at all that it died. I am more excited than her to take action and avenge her death! However, I also want to go home. I wonder if there is a chance… Does the ghost Jun Wei Wei has some idea?".

The ghost started to chuckle. Somehow, she sensed what I was thinking about. "I was a pampered young miss of General Jun, the Minister of War. Aside from being a level 3 spirit warrior with intermediate martial skill, my only other talent is being virtuous as I excel in the four arts. That and as well as my looks."

The ghost was not humble at all.

"And yes, I am being dotted by my 3 brothers, father, and grandfather as well as my fiancé, the Crown Prince of Gu."

Okay, information overload. This won't help me in moving forward in this world. So Jun Wei Wei is a spoiled, pampered, white lotus lady of a rich, well-known family. And as she has a lot of brothers, the Jun clan must be a strong, military clan – her father is a General, the God of War and currently the minister of war.

"Should we go back to your home?" I asked. I should be going somewhere to be safe tonight. I don't have any knowledge to survive in the wild at night.

"Didn't you feel the wounds on my face? You look hideous. With Wun Lu in my home, my family won't even look at you." It said.

"What! I thought you are well-loved? Wouldn't they help you after they see you in this dire state?" I exclaimed, flabbergasted.

The ghost Jun Wei Wei shook her head. "My family is superficial and vain. They love and dote on what is beautiful and scorn what is ugly to their eyesight." She explained without a trace of sadness or disdain.

What! I mean come on, how superficial was their love for her? No wonder Jun Wun Lu was resentful.

Sigh… so how am I going to keep myself safe throughout the night?
