CHAPTER 9 : Sleeping Together
Ahaan 's pov
I went to my room and took a cold shower , it usually helps to calm down a bit when my mind is filled with so many questions, After taking shower I took my laptop and started checking my mails but nothing was helping me to distract my mind, my curiosity to know who made her cry was just making me mad and restless, Abhay said I was jealous , no it was not true I was just curious, curious to know everything about this girl, it's been just few hours since we met still the way she cried it somewhere made me feel bad and sorry for her, I wanted to know the reason
"gosh what's wrong with you ahaan ', I told myself by holding my head
I walked out of the room to drink some water as I was feeling thirsty , when I was walking towards the kitchen I saw naina sitting on sofa alone with a book on her hand
" itni raat ko idhar kya kar rahi ho tum? ", I asked as she looked at me in a surprised expression
" tum abhi tak soye nahi? ', she asked me
I went towards her and sat beside her, by mistake i kept my hand on her hand and she immediately took it away and moved a little , there was uncomfortable silence between us and she was looking uncomfortable so I immediately apologized "I am sorry ", I said
Naina kept quiet for a while , I waited for her to speak patiently as I knew something was wrong with her
" mujhe akele sone ki aadat nahi so neend nahi aa rahi thi ' , she said after along pause
"are you scared? ', I asked and she looked at me and nodded her head
" tho kisi ko bola kyu nahi? aur tumhare doston ko nahi pata? ", I asked genuinely
" nahi i sleep with my nani always aur kal hum sab hall mai so gaye te tho mai bol nahi paayi "she replied as she kept playing with cover of the book
" ab poori raat aise hi baithogi kya ", I asked her
" hmm, tum jaake so jaao " , she said and sat comfortably on sofa and started reading the book again
"mujhe bhi neend nahi aa rahi ",i said and she looked at me and said " sach?",
chai piyoge? ", I asked her , she smiled and nodded her head I got up from there and went to kitchen , she followed me and stood beside me
" tumhe sach mai neend nahi aa rahi hai ya sirf.. . she didn't complete her sentence as she immediately stopped in between
"sirf? ", I repeated
" kuch nahi " , she said and I started making tea
"I don't want a kid like you to stay alone ", I joked to break the uncomfortable silence between us
*I am not a kid ", she replied with a pout on her face
" wo tho dikh raha hai " , I replied and she lightly pinched me on my arm
"ouch, jungli billi ho kya ", I said and rubbed my arm
I made tea for both of us and gave her a cup and we both walked out of the kitchen
we both sat on sofa beside each other and started drinking the tea
" so? ", I asked naina
" so what? " , naina replied
"poori raat jaagne ka iraada hai ? ", I asked
" pata nahi I will try to sleep again after sometime ', she replied
"if you don't mind I can sleep with you ', I said , she looked at me in shock as I just spilled the words out from my mouth without realizing that it might sound bad
" I mean, we can sleep here, tum sofe pe so jaao I will sleep on the mattress there " , I said
"lekin tum meri wajeh se neeche kyu soge, it's ok I will manage ", she replied
" mujhe bhi neend nahi aa rahi isiliye ", I replied
" are you sure? " , she asked, I nodded my head and got up , I went to her room and brought a pillow and blanket for her
I gave it to her , she took it from me and said "ahaan tum ye sab kyu kar rahe ho "
I didn't say anything because I had no answer, I went to my room and brought the pillow and blanket, she was comfortably lying down on sofa and staring at the ceiling, I looked at her and smiled
I placed the pillow on the mattress and laid down
"ahaan I think you should go back to your room ", naina said
" ab nahi uthaa jaayega I am lazy ', I replied
"I am serious", she raid
" tumhe apne boyfriend ka tho darr nahi lag raha na? ", I asked her , she immediately got up and looked at me in a very surprising expression
I got up too and said "jisse mobile pe baat kar rahi thi uski baat kar rha hoon obviously kisi bhi ladke ko bura lagega agar uski girlfriend kisi ladke ke saath aise ek hi chatt ke neeche " before I could complete she replied "rudra ,boyfriend nahi hai wo mera best friend hai, kuch bhi sochte aur bolte ho tum ek baar puch tho lete gadhe kahin ke pata nahi kya kya bolne waale te aur wese bhi hum itna dur dur so rahe hai hum konsa " she stopped in between and kept her hands on her mouth as she realized what she was blabbering and I smiled looking at this chatter box
she immediately laid down and covered her face with a blanket
I was relieved that I got my answer
I laid down and tried to sleep but it was too hot for me as I am used to sleep in AC , I removed the blanket and tried to sleep again but I couldn't sleep, I looked at naina who was already sleeping with her head covered with the blanket, I got up and went towards her, i removed the blanket from her face, I slowly brushed her hair from her face, she was looking so cute, I didn't know when I moved close to her face, I touched her eyes with my fingers, she didn't react as she was already in deep sleep, I didn't know what I was doing, I slowly touched her cheeks with my palm, then my eyes gazed her lips for a while, I moved closer to her lips now my lips and her lips were just an inch away , she immediately turned to the other side and our lips lightly brushed with each other,I immediately moved away, I moved quickly to my place, my heart beat increased, I touched my lips and smiled ...
