CHARACTER CREATION

I opened my eyes to find a black void, looking around there was nothing except for the green words displayed in front of which read; "APPEARANCE" at the top and a silhouette beside it.

"So I can choose how I want myself to look in this new world. Then firstly, height. I'm not gonna live a second life being short as hell, but not too tall"

I began to set my features deciding on black and silver hair, the silver would be eye catching at night in case I need to make a badass entrance. I made the eyes blue for the same reason and decided on a slightly pale skin color.

Choosing yes once I was done it brought me to another screen titled; "RACE". Under it was a selection of different races from bleach, it ranged from regular humans to artificial mod souls to regular souls, bount, fullbringers, hollows, and quincy.

This was very important, my ideal would be quincy but chances of surviving seem slim, in fact everything seemed too dangerous. Hollows would get 'purified' by shinigami and so would a rouge mod soul, let's be frank their basically slaves. Fullbringers aren't a bad idea but my dream requires more than that, I wasn't going to this world to be some side character that helps once in a while. I was going to fulfil a previously impossible dream of mine, something no one could do in bleach. I was going to be Ichigo's rival, I was going to push him to get stronger the way no one ever could. But unfortunately it's not easy, the reason being that while I was trying to decide one one race due to a mixture of heritage and plot reasons, Ichigo comprised of four distinct races — Human, Hollow, Quincy, and Shinigami.

"I'll have to do some major grinding once I enter this world" I said swiping left but as soon as I did I reached the end of the list and the last race piqued my interest.

"VARIANT RACE: PSYCHIC"

At that point the debate in my head got worse, the fact that there was only one variant race was reassuring that not too many things had changed but still psychics in Bleach now. Actually, it makes a lot of sense considering the supernatural stuff. How did Tite Kubo miss that one. This is disturbing, are they all over the place like some mob psycho shit or are they another species that the Shinigami used an eraser on.

Well it's not hard to guess the abilities, Psychics have the same things in common telekinesis and Telepathy but probably with a bleach twist. To what degree, I'm not sure since there's no info on it but Psychics supposedly have a connection to spirits so even if it's not enough it'll be helpful and since it's a variant race I'll probably be tied to new events in some way, at least ensure I'm not a background character. Higher chance to be Ichigo's rival.

Choosing Psychic the screen changed again asking me to undergo training, across this new list were characters from Bleach.

'So I can actually train under them' I thought grinning.

The decision wasn't hard, I chose Yoruichi for Shunpo training, I planned to learn that one as quick as possible. Then I chose Kisuke for the philosophical aspects of Reishi, Reiryoku and Reiatsu. Then I chose Hitsugaya and Byakuya for hado practice and then Yamamoto becuase why the hell not. I reappeared in the same spot after spending what had to be years training under them, I was initially excited because I thought it was them but it turned out to be some AI that Cosmos created.

'I'm getting tired of meeting fakes'

"Zanpakuto creation"

This was a question I think every fan asks themselves, I would have to be able to trust this sword with my life. Or rather, these swords since I had decided on two. Basically the Japanese YIN-YANG spirits 陰と陽" (in to yō). Basically two spirits who are complete opposties, I know that's creating a lot of trouble for myself in the future but still; gotta keep things interesting.

After I was done I selected to finish creating my Zanpakuto and the screen changed again reading; "BACKSTORY". This is essential to my character, backstory determines how important I am to the plot but honestly I'm one sided; I've got my mind set on being childhood friends with Ichigo. That would definitely set the mood for lifetime rivals but starting from the soul society doesn't sound that bad. Heck, in my early days I wanted to wake up as Byakuya's son but;

"Restricted due to race"

As I suspected, since he's not a Psychic he can't have a Psychic son. I can only pick obscure backstories like abandoned at an orphanage which allows Cosmos to make sure my parents are almost anybody capable of being a Psychic and then probably kill them off to make me an orphan or have them abandon me.

"Not enough"

Safe to say I don't think there's any Psychics in the soul society, I've tried enough to figure that out. I'm starting to think that eraser theory was right. Anyway the only other place was the human world which meant Karakura town or at least I hope but no matter how many times I tried it still rejected the backstory until I removed mother from the parents list; "Seriously, what difference does that make"

Anyway, I had found myself with a single dad now and after confirming my backstory I was greeted with a loading screen.

"Finally'

Right now I felt like someone who was waiting for a new version for his video to just finish loading as every time it went up 1% my heart would jump. But this was different, I had been silently and unknowingly waiting for this for more than half of my past life.
