Chapter 31 (Negotiation)
Yamato jumps to the stage after getting into his costumes and stands behind the speaker.
"YOU SELF PROCLAIMED HERO, IF YOU HAVE EVEN LITTLE SHAME THEN COME HERE." the speaker says.
Yamato taps on his shoulder behind which leaves the speaker trembling.
He looks behind with fear and Yamato winks.
"So what business do you have with me?" Yamato says
"Since when?"
"Since when what?"
"Since when were you standing here?"
"I just got here 5 seconds ago."
"How?"
"Through teleportation or that's what I would say. I ran, or more like jumped here."
"You are a monster."
"I'm a human. Anyways what did you want to ask me?"
"Quite some stuff."
"Oh and they are?" Yamato says while looking dead in his eyes.
The speaker moves back his head to the mic and proceeds to ask
"You said it was you who the invaders are after right?"
"Yeah I said that."
"So aren't you the reason why we are passing through this hell?"
"Hmm, okay suppose I just leave or die or whatever, how much is the possibility that the invaders would go away and leave you? Have you confirmed anything regarding it? The one who is controlling them is a merciless Emperor who would do anything to maintain his power and if he can do anything."
"But there still are casualties."
"In my last fight, everything was fixed. And are there any death cases reported?"
"No...there are no death cases. But the destruction."
"As I said, I'll repair them."
"Okay..."
"Is there anything else you would want to ask?"
"How are you gonna stop all of them?"
"I found a way to get to the king, so I'll use it but...."
"But?"
"If I leave this place, it would turn into a scene of destruction, so I wanna announce something here, or you can call it as a request."
"What is it?"
"I hope the officials are listening. SOO I wanna create a defense force. So practically, I'll be supplying with the materials, and they would be made as weapons as firearms can not hurt these creatures. And the force I wanna create, I'll be training them to become warriors and get the ability to look over this world while I'm gone. There might be some who can use magic too, so I'll create a rank system and for that, I need the permissions which I do not have yet. So I request all the present powers of this city to assist me."
'This guy turned riot into his announcement area. He's smart'.
*Inside Government Cabinet*
"So I request all the present powers of this city to assist me."
*Click*
One of them turns off the T. V
"He sure did give us trouble. So what are we gonna do?" The chief says.
"This is all so sudden, so I don't know if we can truly trust that guy. We should negotiate with him first." An advisor replies
"But how will we even contact him? We do not know his identity." Another advisor says.
"Hmm.....put an announcement on social media. Give the address to my office. We will verify his presence or identity by asking him for proof. It will surely drag him out." the chief says.
"You really think it will work?"
"What he needs is our aid, so it will."
*Pop*
"Hm what's that? It's from a government page" Yamato says as he opens the details.
"As a reply to the announcement you made. You know who we are talking about. Our chief asks you to come over his office by tomorrow. The address is also given in the details. No fakers will be allowed to enter, and they will be fined. We recognize you as a savior right now and are willing to negotiate with you over this topic."
"Did they just did that?" Yamato says with shock.
"They did what?" Akari asks
"They literally gave me an invitation Infront of the world. If I go now, they will suspect me of living in Tokyo but the need the alliance. What do you think Akari? What should I do?"
"I don't know. My mind doesn't work in this stuff. You should ask her instead."
"Oh yes the sage, I almost forgot about her."
*Crack*
"Ouch! What the....who did that? My head hurts like hell." Yamato asks furiously.
"Your speech is quite unforgivable. Anyways I think you should go and have the meeting. He doesn't mean any harm so just try to negotiate."
"Okay. If you say so. I'll visit his office tomorrow."
***The Next Day***
Outside the office of the chief.
"So this is the address right?"
"Yeah according the message."
"Alright let's go in then."
As Yamato was going in he wasn't disturbed by any of the guards, and they were letting him pass by after just a simple body check.
"This is weird."
"Yeah.the security sucks."
"Something's weird."
As they get Infront of the chief's office door a guard asked him to give proof that he is the one who was called.
"Prove that you are the one who is summoned." the guard says.
"How am I supposed to do that?" Yamato asks.
"Do anything people have seen you do before."
"Hmm have I used bloodlust?"
"Yes you have but anything but that."
"Okay than, how about my swords."
"They will do. I can feel something dense because of your presence, so I just wanna verify."
Yamato pulls out the swords from the invisible scabbards.
"Here. Take a look at them."
He touches the sword and feels the immense power.
"These swords are to be feared. You may enter."
"Okay, please do not reveal my identity though. It's a warning not a request."
"Okay sir."
Yamato enters the room and sees the chief sitting on a chair waiting for him to arrive…
"If they let you enter then you must be the mysterious guy everyone is talking about." he says.
"Yes I am, please keep my identity a secret Chief." Yamato replies.
"I am Matura Yuta, the present chief of this city. I heard your request of assistance so..."
"You wanna negotiate?"
"Yes."
"Then let's begin."
