Chapter 25 (The Mighty Lioness)

The presence of those two was high enough to make a comma man frail. The legendary beast and the Great Demon were someone not to annoy as they both had their own history.

The great Demon was once the ruler of the demon race, the most fearful of all and during his time, the demon empire was at its golden age. It's said that he alone was enough to clash down the mage empire to pieces and just because of that reason, they had to eliminate it.

The mages summoned a hero from another world to defeat the Great Demon Lord. The hero was given all he needed, and then he went to battle the Lord.

Their fight is still recalled as it was one of the marvelous. The hero sacrificed himself to defeat the demon, but it was able to use the sword as it's vessel and stayed in it for centuries until it was discovered by the knight Gelbert who now has complete control over the remaining fragments of the once called invincible ruler.

In comparing with that, The Mighty Lioness Beast was the protector of the beast empire, and its presence was also the reason why the Demon Lord never raided it.

The power of the beast was nothing to be easy about, and its huge body was enough to scatter its enemies to pieces. As one of the mightiest magical beasts, it had a great duty and was doing what it could but some of the low beasts disliked her.

They opposed her existence and soon the king also encouraged the opposers.

So as the last option, the mighty beast sealed itself inside the sword that was retrieved by the royalty and given to the beast king.

The swords were then passed on to Yamato.

"Oh I remember you, the might beast, the most feared one and the most powerful. I adored your power but now, look at you. You got rejected by your own kind and sealed yourself. It's pitiful." The demon said while showing off his power.

"Enough of your gibberish talk. You were defeated by a mere human, just how lowly is your defeat. I sealed myself to keep peace, but your defeat made peace. You are nothing but a useless demon." the beast mockingly replied.

"PERISH YOUR UNMINDFUL THOUGHTS! I AM CARVELL, THE ONE WHO IS FEARED AND THE MOST MIGHTY BEING! If you mock me then you SHALL be turned into NOTHINGNESS!"

"You speak too high of your self. I am Harponia, my name comes from the origin of the almighty Harpies. I am the former protector of the beast forest and will do every good with my glorious gifted power, and now I am the sword of this man named Yamato and as per his wish, I shall fight you and defeat you right here and now."

The mightiness of both beings was overflowing with mana. None could keep themselves neutral on their position. The outrage of them was clear as light and their bloodlust was increasing and increasing with no pause.

"I think you should stop overflowing with power because this body isn't good with physical resistance."

Akari requests kindly.

"Forgive me for my carelessness, I shall fight now."

Both mighty creatures stand on their positions and glare at each other continuously.

*ZIP*

Both of them moved at an unbelievable speed and stroke each other with immense power.

Their attack had enough force to change the course of wind and fly away all the dust beneath.

The dust faded away and by surprise, none of them was harmed by the scratch.

"Just as powerful as in your prime huh Harponia?"

"You aren't weak either Carvell, but not good enough to defeat me."

Both of them in an instant started continuous attacks just like aces.

"RAWRRRR"

Harponia roared loudly and started to gather power for her one single special attacks.

"Oh? An unique technique? But do you think that will be enough to beat me? I still have 3 unique techniques which are overwhelmingly powerful, so this isn't gonna work on me."

"Just 3? I was preached for centuries by my followers, and they gifted me tons of stuff including scrolls. My supporters are the reason to my power and because of them, I have already overpowered you. At this very moment, I am having 7 unique techniques. Prepare to die."

"7!? THAT'S ABSURD. ONLY HOLY CREATURES ARE CAPABLE OF THAT!"

"Just what do you think I am? A normal beast? I am a heavenly beast sent by one of the gods to keep peace. I am one of the most powerful heavenly beasts, and you dare look down at me. You will pay for that."

"HEY YOU DEMON TRANSFORM ME BACK! HURRY UP!"

"HEY I AM TALKING TO YOU, YOU LOWLY DEMON. HEY BRAT! REPLY!!"

"Hah, don't bother. He is already paralyzed by fear."

"Now prepare to die."

"O THE HOLDERS OF BLUE FIRE, THE EXTINGUISHERS OF ICE, HERE MY COMMAND AND ASSIST ME WITH YOUR POWER.

ULTIMATE BLUE FLAME STORM"

The moment she cast the spell, a blazing blue storm covered the demon lord and started to scale down as it burnt the body of his until it reached the source and destroyed it completely.

"I'LL NOT FADE AWAY LIKE THIS! I'LL RETURN!!!"

He said as he was turning into sparks.

"Now it's your turn" she says to the Knight.

"Leave that guy to me, you have done far too enough for us. Thanks for your help, you can go and rest now."

Akari requests.

"Alright then I'll leave him to you."

After saying that, she turned back into the sword and automatically went back into scabbards.

"Now than, what should I do with you?"

"Akari, switch." Yamato says

"Huh why?"

"I want to punish this guy myself."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I have made up my mind."

"Ok then."

'Reestablishing the Limits'

The system says and in a sudden, Yamato takes back the control and descends his power level.

He directly reaches towards the knight with the blade in his hand and without saying a single word slays his head off.

"That's what you deserve" he says with a Stony look.
